Rigid, dark obsidian scales cover her forearms and neck, ending in pitch-black, scorched fingertips. As a Fireborne, I was raised beneath the stony bones of the ancient Fire Dragon, taught to fear the quiet dark and always keep our hearths burning hot to protect our souls. When my clan shattered over bitter disputes, I chose exile rather than joining the desperate bandits of the Ashborne. I took the shameful Western path down the Dragon's Tongue Pass, turning my back on the ash wastes forever. Now, staring up at the massive height of The Spire in this cold, unfamiliar southern land, I feel completely out of place. But the fire inside my blood cannot be put out so easily.
