Minecraft Username: John_Berthall
Are you at least 18 years old?: Yes
Have you read the rules?: Yes
(Optional) How did you hear about Avalore?: Indirectly via hearing of HollowedWorld and its shut down via a forgotten Minecraft servers' video. Hearing about it sparked my curiosity in Minecraft RP.
(Max. 1) Were you referred by someone? If so, please provide their in-game username: No
(Optional) Introduce yourself if you’d like, as well as any creations you want to share (e.g. art, builds, skins): Guess you can call me Jeg? (I have to many different usernames lol) I just recently got back into Minecraft after ~year break off the game, truth be told never thought that I'd be typing out another character application for a roleplay (and on Minecraft off all places!) since I stopped roleplaying 4 months ago fully. My primary source of RP back then was mainly through Fallout 76, but I am hoping this will be a good change of pace since I have been seeking to RP again.

In-Character
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”
Surprised that he was that much of an open book, Vin would laugh at himself internally.
"I like traveling...well, I like exploring places I never been. Its something my father instilled into me at a very young age; he was a Mistan, lived like one to for many years til' he met my mother on a trip visiting some Jackwalls, being the smooth talker she was, my mother managed to make my old man love-struck and agree to take her away to visit lands anew..."Looking down at wagons floor, Vin would think to himself, "Just how long has it been since I thought of them?" A question he'd never thought he would have to ask himself. Returning his gaze towards the woman, Vin would then add: He'd always tell me tales of lands and places I could never even dream of in my head..." He paused, frowning. "He passed a few years ago and well- I decided fightin' isn't somethin' I wanna keep doing, so I thought what else to do than visit the places my father told me tales about, and the Reach is next on that list." Travelling was always something he'd rather than fight but having been locked under a mercenary contract for so long; the only 'traveling' he would ever do, would be to the next soon to be bloodied field."Ghess I'm a bit nervous cus' my father spoke of it vaguely, like he didn't want to talk about it. But that inner Jackwall in me is telling me to go anyway, guess that's what happens when you have a rebellious mother and a father who tell you tales of mysterious lands... " Momentarily pausing to think on what to next say, he would then continue, "Not long before this I was back east in the Faded Steppe visiting a Village called 'Hope's Watch', I still remember when my father gave me this little toy boat that was just like the he used in the past and I asked him where he got it, he told me:""I got it at a place called Hope's Watch, back then it used to have great watchtowers that would protect the people from evil demons! Maybe one day, the both of us can visit together." He would say, momentarily pausing."I really do wish he and I got to do that, even if the demon part wasn't real.

Character Name: Vincent Post
Character Race: Human
Character Age: 34
Brief Physical Description:
At an initial glance you could surmise his appearance to be that of your typical laborer. The man was of fair stature & build, not to tall neither short; stocky but not burly. However, around lower forearms appeared to be long-healed burns from an unknown source, with the addition of ring-like scars drawn around his wrists, possibly from a past of enslavement or capture. A partial limp could be noticed from the man's left leg, seemingly due to the distinct lack of movement from the respective legs foot; wherein the joint of the heel to the rest of the led has presumably fused itself from a lack of or improper treatment of a past injury, Thick blackish-brown hair tied back by a single piece of knotted string, complimented by a beard well-groomed beard of medium length set atop a face well-wrinkled from time outside. Dark Blue eyes appeared to hold a thought of peace made low by the scar diagonally marked across the man's nose that was of medium-length and a aquiline arch. A slight permanent frown beset that man's expression from his thin down-turned lips.
