Hey there! Thank you for the responses and gesture. I will do my best to answer all the inquiries you have brought forth for clarification purposes. ---- 1) Is Roushuang's ancestry from one parent being of Clan Lin and the other being from a Fireborne tribe? I notice you said they were born into Clan Lin, but reference the Fireborne has their people.  (ANSWER) Roushaung's parents stem from two bloodlines: her father being that of a retainer for Clan Rin whilst her mother is a Fireborne. So the answer to your question would be yes. ---- 2) By you writing: > "...born within the Lin Clan, a subsidiary of the Odokhu clan..."  Did you mean to imply that Clan Lin is a cadet branch of the Great Clan Odokhi? If so, that would need to be changed to being worded to something that denotes that they're a clan that swears fealty to Great Clan Odokhi, but are not actually related to them through any blood without permission from the Lore team, of which you can make a ticket on our Discord if you want to pursue that route.  (ANSWER) Clan Lin is not related by blood to the Great Clan Odokhi. Despite this fact, they all still serve Odokhi as if this very fact mentioned prior was true. I will keep your direction in mind and will consider making a lore ticket to fix any complications.  ---- > Finally, I want to make sure it's clarified that the blue in Roushuang's horns would have to be from paint, not a natural occurence! If you have any questions, concerns, or need any clarification feel free to reach out here or through Avalore's Discord!  (ANSWER) The horns are indeed painted and tatooed. For the sake of clarity, I will mention that Clan Lin has a tatooing process for all of their members. Roushaung as well as her sister, due to them being half greatling, were tatooed upon their horns. ---- I would like to further thank you for your review and gestures. I look forward to your response.

I'm LrP, and I am a platform text roleplayer of five years. I tend to dabble in a lot of world building and story in various fandoms, indulging in stories of creations I take a liking to!  I dabble in art, though I would not call myself a professional. When I refer to art, I usually mean music creation and traditional/digital art. My motivation tends to fluctuate a lot. I am hoping to achieve an understanding of either and hopefully shape it into a career! — In-Character Read the following prompt: The sound of clinking glasses and idle chatter welcome you in as you find yourself stepping into The Full Cask. An older man with a full mustache and warm smile beckons you over to the bar he's tending. His gazes washes over you, a glint of some knowing look shining in his eyes. As you sit, his voice rumbles out: "Hello there stranger! What can I get for you?"  After you order, he continues to make small talk. "You must be a newcomer. I'm Maarten, glad to meet you." He says with a certain kindness in his tone.  "Tell me, what brings you to the Spire?"   How do you respond (in character)? (250 word minimum - please make sure to include at least three references to our lore in your response, with two coming from different pages in the Compendium.  Two of the three selected should also be in-depth, avoid simply name-dropping lore terms. Tie the terms into your character's backstory. Why are they important to them?)Usage of AI to generate, modify or translate the writing on your application will result in denial of your whitelist. There will be no chance to re-apply afterwards. Your Response: The half-being found herself standing idly upon the entrance of that of a recreational bar, one she could only assume that was popular to the public. Her tired, colbalt eyes gently rested upon the entrance doors, arms completely obscured within her over-cloak. Her apparel fluttered with the flowing wind, as a small symphony of song-birds clashed with the lively discombobulated chatter within the tavern doors. The woman could make out many voices, along with their tones. Mixes of cheering and casual chatter, all of various tones and intentions. To go in, or not go in. Roushuang found herself conflicted with this measly decision. It was ever so rarely Roushuang found herself indulging amongst the public mass, especially in places that served alcohol. She did not feel like socializing with others. On the other hand, she found herself weary. Her body ached, muscles sore as they shed and reform into that of a stronger mass. She sought rest, even temporarily, to retract the physical and mental strain of her prior ventures.  At the same time, there was much work to be done. There was a reason she had found herself at Spire. Many reasons, in fact. born within the Lin Clan, a subsidiary of the Odokhu clan [who in which believes in an ancestral myth of a wyrm spirit, who in which tested the first of the Lin and presented him that of a lightning marked guandao (polearm) as a sign of duty. Growing up, she was taught discipline as well as archery and polearm techniques. Though, despite her greatest efforts her eldest sister would always overshadow her. She was better than Roushaung in every way, for being the eldest meant bearing more responsibilities and expectations. Roushuang ended up becoming coddled, and sheltered. It frustrated Roushaung greatly, wanting to prove her own worth to her family and earn her own. So, as soon as she turned 18 Roushaung left her household and traveled towards the Ashlands. Keeping her clan's lore in mind, she hoped that this would spark some sort of trial, in which she would take upon her own terms. There, she allowed herself to become hardened by the landscape. Roushaung lived off of scraps, toning herself to survival. There, she would become a mercenary for hire. Utilizing her training from back home, she put it to good use in order to properly make money and carve her own path within the wastelands that is the Ashlands. Roushaung saved all her earnings, until she had finally decided to depart for Spire. She wanted to learn more about her lineage, if the wyrm was real or if it was myth. She also shared this mindset regarding the Red Dragon, a powerful dragon spirit her people (the fireborne) believe watch over them. While she has learned much regarding the mythical being, she wanted to learn more. Roushaung believed that her trip to Spire would enlighten her and spark understanding of her heritage and bloodline. With all of this in mind, should she really be wasting her time? As she contemplated, taking her time deciding, she found others squeezing around her. One, ever the rude soul, intentionally bumped her forearm with his body, muttering curses in regard to her blocking the entry way. Roushuang simply stared daggers at the other's back, shadows of intent looming over her face. Despite impulse raging forth, Roushuang silently clung to her composure. This was not the place to act out, even to disorderly men. She witnessed the man swing the doors open aggressively in front of her, walking within the bar. Warm, humid air brushed against her face as this was done, the sound of disorganized voices filling her ears. She caught a glimpse of the inside of the bar for the brief moment the swinging doors were opened as it shut in front of her. Roushuang took a deep breath, with a decision to commit to her decision. A strong hand outreached forth, clutching the doorhandle and gently opening the door. As the swinging doors opened once more, she found herself entering within the facility. Pungent odor wafted around the bar, the smell of alcohol and a slight stench of stomach excrement assaulting her nose. In front of her, was the tavern's bar, which fortunately consisted of full seats all except for one stool. She slowly approached, finding a seat. As she did, Roushuang felt her body relax. Aching muscles would dissipate, as all the pressure of standing was delivered to the seat of the stool in which she sat. It was comforting. Roushuang sat idly for a moment, elbows resting upon the bar surface as she simply allows herself to recuperate. It has been a prolonged journey to Spire from the Ashlands, one of nonstop movement and venturing. Despite her prolonged journey, Roushuang finally made contact. She stood in a place of opportunity, and a place in which she can further expand her knowledge. She have saved exponentially from her labour back in the Ashlands, mercenary work bringing a fruitful abundance to her pouch. Roushuang, for she thought, should be exponentially prepared for financial burdens that could impede her trek for enlightenment. The half-greatling found herself closing her eyes as she continued to relax, her mind floating back to that of her sister and homestead. Simpler times flashed upon her mind, memories of endearing moments with her sister back within Uul'san. There, she wondered, the status of her dear sister's wellbeing. Was she well? Is she flourishing? All of these questions presented themselves to her, with care. Roushuang could not help but smile a bit. She believed that she was out there somewhere, doing her best. It's all she could ever hope for her. It's what she believed. Suxia has always exceeded her expectations. It is what she admired about her sister.  "Hello stranger!" A means voice beamed from the other side of the bar, catching Roushuang by surprise. She immediately brought her head up, her eyes blankly looking at the tavern keep with attention. The man paused a moment, as the two figures locked eyes. Roushuang raised a brow to the awkward silence, as the tavern keep recovered from Roushuang's jagged acknowledgement to his voice. "...Sorry about that. Is there somethin' I can get'cha?"  Roushuang frog blinked at the man for a moment, contemplating an answer. Honestly, she did not think this far. A tinge of discomfort attacked her stomach, embarrasment flushing her cheekbones. "...I believe, I will have a glass of rum." She would answer. The tavern keep perked up, recording this order on that of a notepad. "Ah, excellent choice." He would say, a riddle of kindness within the tone of his voice. He would step away for a moment, preparing the drink in the background. Roushuang watched curiously as the tavern keep did so, the man quickly filling a glass before sliding it over towards her. Roushuang would dip her head down, and back up again. "Thank you." Roushuang would say, holding the glass carefully with both hands and simply allowing them to rest there for the moment. The tavern keep would chuckle, nodding his head in acknowledgement to her thanks. "Just doin' my job." He would say. "Haven't seen you 'round these parts before. You must be a newcomer." He would say, proceeding to make small talk. Roushuang could not help but raise a brow to this observation. It was impressive that he could distinguish her as different from a crowd of similar-faced men. "How is it that you can tell?" Roushuang decided to indulge his banter, tilting her head curiously. "Well, after workin' behind the counter for so long." He would explain, "You tend to get familiar with the locals." He said, gesturing to the crowd of patrons beyond. Roushuang hummed. "I see." She would respond, bringing her alcoholic beverage to her lips. She closed her eyes, enjoying the rum she had ordered. "Speaking of. You can call me Maarten." He would say, greeting himself. "Glad t' meet you." Roushuang swallowed her beverage, putting the cup upon the bar as the tavern keep. "Likewise." She would respond. A sigh escaped her lips. "You may call me.. Fynra." She would say, almost as if she was contemplating a name to give. Fortunately for her, the tavern keep did not pay any mind to it.  "Fynra. Mighty fine name you got there." Maarten would speak in response to her introduction. Roushuang shook her head. "Oh, don't be a flatterer." She would say, waving her hand in a horizontal direction dismissively. The tavern keep shook his head in response. "Anyways... what brings ya to Spire?" He would inquire, raising a brow and looking to the other with a smile. Roushuang looked away for a moment in contemplation. Does she really want to spread her business to a man she just met. "Oh, I have my reasons." Roushaung would respond vaguely, attempting to create an unspoken boundary. Fortunately, it was understood and disregarded by the tavern keep. He nodded his head in understanding, glancing to the side for a moment. "Well, Fynra, if you'd like a refill just get my attention." He would say, raising his hand in gesture. He turned tail, making his way to other patrons who in which sat at the bar. Roushaung simply hummed in response, bringing her beverage to her mouth.  "Quite the talkative bunch, these people are." She would mutter to herself after swallowing her drink. She'd sigh, allowing herself to continue relaxing in the solace of her stool as the loud, chatty environment of the bar began to sink into nothing but static background noise.    — Character Name: Roushuang (Uul'sanese name) /Fynra (Fireborne name) Character Race: Half Arsa Sidhe, Half Greatling Character Age: 21  Brief Physical Description: This Arsa Sidhe dawns an athletic, yet feminine physique. 6'8 in size, Roushaung bares pale delicate skin, with natural white hair with colbalt undertones.
