Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”
“I’ve come for what everyone else has, of course!” Ilbryen blurts out, ecstatic that someone asked him that question. “Adventure and treasure call my name to this new frontier!” He says, rubbing his hands together at the thought of Aedall treasures. “Surely now that they’re gone, those isolationists won’t mind if someone makes use of their trinkets. Just thinking of how many strange goodies might lurk in their abandoned town makes me shiver!! Although… Since they’ve been gone for a while, those ruins might be inhabited by monsters, but a calm sea never made a skilled sailor anyways, so that will make this adventure all the more exciting!”-“Oh, and then there’s that great big stone spire there too! I’m just itching to find out more about that big stone pillar, especially how great the view at its top must be! They say no chisel can scratch its surface, and glowing crystals cover it like a nice fatty steak. ” He says, thinking about some nice land animals to consume before the cow in his head grows the head of a fish. His face contorts in disgust. ”I tell you Granny, I’ve spent more than enough time soaking in the seawater back in Marionsport. I don’t ever, EVER want to go back to those slimy fish markets and the same gray cliffs trapped on a tiny island by sea as far as the eye can see!” He says, thinking back on his hometown, shaking his head rapidly before looking at the old lady with his big ol’ eyes. “What was your first time like?” He asks back after his great big monologue.

Brief Physical Description: A kind and cheerful soul, shining down from 6’8 height through deep crimson lenses. His face hidden by long black hair resembles kelp in water, especially after a quick dip in the sea. His fair skin hidden behind loose fitting sailor’s clothes bears only one prominent scar, a slash on the right side of his chest. Two loooooooong ears pop under the brim of his pointed hat, picking up the juiciest of rumors.
