Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

Nadir leaned back and looked at the sky in thought. “Why not?” he shrugged, and there was only a few moments before he spoke up again. “It is what my father has done, and my grandfather, and so on. Going on a journey is an important tradition for the people of the Isles, especially for my family in particular.” Nadir idly played with a Phoenix-shaped charm hanging from a bracelet before continuing on.
“Normally they visit the Ashlands as part of their Pilgrimage as a nod to their heritage, but they’ve all been there. Isn’t that so boring for each one of us to go to the same place over and over again!? It is a crime, really!” realizing he was going on a rant he stopped, coughing a bit, before settling some. “Anyhow, I thought I might change tradition a bit. Plus it would be exciting to see a new land be built up, no?” he asked the older woman with a grin.

Character Age: 21
Brief Physical Description: Nadir is a pretty man with dark skin, solid gold eyes, and black horns. He would normally reach 6'6", but when you include his dark horns he is 7ft tall. His longer red hair has bleached, yellow accents. Sticking out from his hair are sharp ears, though half of his right ear is missing, a scar along the edge. Charcoal scales cover his arms and legs, and his hands end with sharp, black fingers.
