Awesome! Thank you again for your patience with my application! Below, I've copied my in-character response, and edited it to fill out the lore even more. Also, at the end, I will attach my updated skin. Please don't hesitate to let me know if any further edits need to be made, as I am more than happy to work with you and the team. Thank you again!
In-Character
Read the following prompt:
The sound of clinking glasses and idle chatter welcome you in as you find yourself stepping into The Full Cask. An older man with a full mustache and warm smile beckons you over to the bar he's tending. His gazes washes over you, a glint of some knowing look shining in his eyes. As you sit, his voice rumbles out:
"Hello there stranger! What can I get for you?"
After you order, he continues to make small talk. "You must be a newcomer. I'm Maarten, glad to meet you." He says with a certain kindness in his tone.
"Tell me, what brings you to the Spire?"
How do you respond (in character)? (250 word minimum - please make sure to include at least three references to our lore in your response, with two coming from different pages in the Compendium. Two of the three selected should also be in-depth, avoid simply name-dropping lore terms. Tie the terms into your character's backstory. Why are they important to them?)

Your Response:
Quinn looks up at Maarten, bright blue eyes shining despite the exhaustion on his face.
“Oh, well… I’ve been aboard my great-grandad’s ship for the better part of a week… See, I’m from the Mist Isles, and when my great-grandad told me about how our ancestors were from Aedall, well… I think you understand that I was more than curious to know the history behind my bloodline…”
Maarten eyes the young man curiously.
"So, you've come all the way from the Isles to search for ghosts of the past? Seems like a lot of effort, kid. Where'd you say you were from again?"
Without missing a beat, Quinn nods.
"I'm from Eryndor. It's kind of a small coastal town in the cliffs... And, well... When young men and women from my town come of age, some of us stay in the Isles, others leave. Many never come back, seeking stories or opportunity. The few that do come back tell stories of their adventures, and sing songs of their exploits..."
Quinn takes a moment, thinking back on his time working the docks of Eryndor.
"My folks wanted me to stay in the Isles, make a life there among the cliffs and mist... But I know that there's more out there for me, y'know...?"
Maarten listens intently. Quinn still has more to say.
"So, I set out on my own journey. My great-grandad lent me his ship, and I left without saying goodbye... I'm not going back until I know more about where I come from, the blood running through my veins..."
Maarten sighs. He doesn't want to be the one to dim the young man's hope.
“Well, I hate to disappoint you, lad, but Aedall’s been much of a mystery for many years now… Not sure what exactly you’re hoping to find among the ruins and dust… Folks say that the people of Aedall just vanished about fifty years ago... Now, there's speculation to whether it happened all at once or over time, but there's not much trace of them ever existing at all.”
Quinn looks up, hopeful still, despite exhaustion and despite the odds.
"Well, it can't be all dead ends with no answers anywhere, can it? I've come so far already, I can't give up yet... Besides, I can't go back even if I wanted to. My great-grandad's ship's run aground, all busted up from the storm... And I doubt my folks'll just welcome me back with open arms. Not after I abandoned them in Eryndor..."
Maarten nods solemnly.
"'Suppose not, but I'm sure you'll find your way. Best of luck on your travels, eh? What you're settin' out to do? You'll need it, lad."
Quinn smiles as he stands up to leave the tavern, having paid for his drink.
“Thank you, Mr. Maarten…! Take care…!”
And with that, Quinn sets off for his adventure through the lands where Aedall once stood, hoping he may one day uncover some buried secret about his ancestry, and discover what grand song or story lies waiting for him at the end of it all.
Thank you once more for your patience, and again, please let me know if I should change anything at all, whether it be my character skin, the background information, or anything else at all!

Hey thanks for taking the time to review my application, I apologize for what errors I have currently, (I am indeed colourblind lol and will ask in the Discord for better hex codes to use for Quinn’s skin tone)
As well, how would you prefer me to format the additional lore/background? Would you prefer if I rewrite the in-character response, or would you like me to simply add more background separately?
I just want to do my very best to meet the guidelines and hopefully be able to join this community.
In addition, I reviewed my Minecraft Username, and it seems I made an error in it lol, the proper Username is Phobia42
Thank you again for your time, and please get back to me at your earliest convenience

And I ain’t goin’ back ‘till I have somethin’ to say of my ancestors of Aedall.”
Maarten eyes the young man curiously.

This doesn’t deter Quinn, who simply smirks, determined.
“Well, it wouldn’t be much of an adventure if I gave up so soon, now would it…? Besides, my great-grandad’s ship’s run aground, all busted up and whatnot, so it’s not like I’ll be headed home anytime soon…”
Maarten chuckles softly. This young man’s got heart, he’d admit that much.
“Well, then, I wish you the best of luck on your travels, lad. Sounds like you’re gonna need it.”
Quinn smiles as he stands up to leave the tavern, having paid for his drink.
