paolumu: Hello! I'm Lumu and I'll be assisting this whitelist There's a few things I'll need addressed; - The minimum word count is 250! Your reply only reaches 121- Your lore section is a little confusing, and I think I can only count two out of three required lore references; and even then they are quite vague. I can see Delanzyr is from the Ashlands, but what else? Are they an Ashborne? Why are they so intent on the concept of strife? How does the dragon tie into their personal ideals? These are merely some suggestions, but I would like to see more elaboration on why these things matter to your character!- Just to confirm; are the horns a reddish brown specifically? If you could include a 3/4 or side view to show off the horn colors that would be lovely! Once the requested edits have been made, please leave a reply and I'll get back to this as soon as I'm able! And if you have any inquiries or questions, feel free to ask in the discord!  Done! I think I fixed it all up

OOC Minecraft Username: Reetzy Are you at least 18 years old?: Yes Have you read the rules? (Link): Yes(Optional) How did you hear about Avalore?: Friend Recommendation(Max. 1) Were you referred by someone? If so, please provide their in-game username: Wyvrun — In-Character Read the following prompt: The sound of clinking glasses and idle chatter welcome you in as you find yourself stepping into The Full Cask. An older man with a full mustache and warm smile beckons you over to the bar he's tending. His gazes washes over you, a glint of some knowing look shining in his eyes. As you sit, his voice rumbles out: "Hello there stranger! What can I get for you?"  After you order, he continues to make small talk. "You must be a newcomer. I'm Maarten, glad to meet you." He says with a certain kindness in his tone.  "Tell me, what brings you to the Spire?" How do you respond (in character)? (250 word minimum - please make sure to include at least three references to our lore in your response, with two coming from different pages in the Compendium.  Two of the three selected should also be in-depth, avoid simply name-dropping lore terms. Tie the terms into your character's backstory. Why are they important to them?)Usage of AI to generate, modify or translate the writing on your application will result in denial of your whitelist. There will be no chance to re-apply afterwards. Your Response: "Curiosity" he'd hum in response, taking a seat at the bar. "The spire is a rare place, somewhere you can find adventure, study, and mystery in one town." The chair creaked beneath his weight as he shifted, eyes locking onto the old man's, "But it is not only curiosity that brings me here. Though the spire is interesting; the events of the great disappearance leading to the unknown fate of the Aedall, suddenly lost. leaving only ruins, grand architecture, and questions in their wake-" his eyes would leave the barkeep's, scanning over the other patrons as they chatted and mingled amongst each other. "-I find the people here today, both in the spire and wider world, more interesting. Why do they fight? What will they learn? What could I teach them in pursuit of my goals, and what could they teach me?" he would reach out for his drink, allowing the questions to hang as he took a sip, "So I suppose my first answer was incorrect. It is not curiosity, but strife that has brought me here." he would once again return his gaze to the old man, who responded to his ramblings with a question "What do I want to learn?" He'd repeat the question, lips lifting to a smile, "Many things my friend. But what interests me most is a fable you likely know." as he spoke his gaze would return back to the barkeep, "The Spirit of the Fire Dragon, a grand, powerful, cunning thing. And how I might bring about its end and rise above all else." His answer would draw a confused response from the man. Del would nod, such a response to his ideas was something he was familiar with, and, to the old man's despair, his confusion would only be met with more rambles, “To kill which is already dead is indeed a sort of contradiction. Though I think that lies mostly in the words we use, ‘death’ is an end, a lack of being perhaps. Something which has not ended cannot really be ‘dead’’” He would nod to the man, as if sharing a mutual understanding, his voice raising as he grew more engrossed in the conversation, “Life, is typically associated with biology, but we tend to really mean essence: what makes a thing something, and separates it from the rest of the inanimate mess of our reality. The dragon has not ceased to have identity, nor has it ceased to ‘be’. So can we really describe it as ‘dead’?” The old man would only respond with silence, not sure how to respond, or if he even wanted to. Taking the silence as understanding Del continued, “So, if this spirit remains, carries the identity of the dragon, and does not.. not, function-” he gestured in the air, as if clicking two blocks together, “-Then it is not dead, and if something is not dead, it can be killed” “But-” he continued without pause, hardly taking a breath, “-that does not answer the question of ‘why?’. And that returns me to my purpose here at the spire.” “Strife!” He’d proclaim, nearly shouting the word as a scaled hand slammed against the wooden bartop with a heavy thud, “You see, ever since I was young, living within the Ashlands, the world around me drew my curiosity-” he would rise, lost in his excited rambles. Easily looming over the old man who looked up at him with wide eyes. Several concerned shouts would ring out as patrons rose from their seats, stopping as he turned around to gesture across the bar, “-Why? Why does the world function as it does, why kill, why fight, why struggle at all? There are answers aplenty, but I’ve found only one that rings true: It is not love, wealth, or power. All things which we fight over. It is the conflict itself that gives life purpose, that drives our actions.”  The patrons who had risen would remain standing, hands held above their blades, ready to draw at the sign of further escalation. Del would offer only a wide smile, “It is strife you participate in now, it is strife that shapes our world, and it is through strife that one rises above all else” finally he would take a breath, allowing the tension to hold in the silence. The sound of a blade leaving its scabbard would sound as he turned back to the old man. “So, it is because of Strife that I will end this spirit. Because the purest act of worship is to overcome all else, to seek further escalation, higher odds. I will worship strife by living within it, and from my worship I will become the greatest expression of strife. I will be undeniable.” Silence would fill the once bustling tavern as Del awaited a response. When none came he only offered a frown, which turned into a disappointed shake of the head, “I see that is where your curiosity ends-” he would sigh, “-as disappointing as that is, thank you for your conversation. I will continue to do my utmost to refine all others through strife.. Including you”  He would turn then, making his way out of the bar, offering the armed patrons a wave farewell before falling in line with the crowds of the spire. Beginning his adventure once more.   Character Name: Delanzyr Character Race: Greatling-Feytouched (Half-Race) Character Age: 30 Character Height: 7'8 Brief Physical Description: A towering figure looms before you, corded muscle restrained by thick grey skin encrusted with blackened scales.
