The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands. “Nervous?” You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes. “I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in. “Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?” How do you respond (in character)? (150 words minimum - please make sure to include some references to our lore in your response!) "Me? Oh, that’s a question I don’t know the proper answer to myself. I’m kind of a free spirit, I follow the path this world lays ahead of me. And it seems like the destination this time is the Reach.   It’s exciting though, I’ve never been to this land before. I’m originally from the North, Tamohn to be exact. But I haven’t called that place home for a long time. My ties to Tamohn have all been cut and the bridges burnt.   I’m glad I hit the road when I did, if you keep moving the past can’t catch up with you. And when I do stop at journeys end, I hope I have good friends and allies to help me face that past. There has been a fair share of inconveniences along the way, to say it lightly. But I look with hopeful eyes at the land before me.
