Thank you for looking at it! I've given it an edit now, please let me know if it's suitable. I picked out a monster from the Bestiary I liked the look of and incorporated that into her backstory, I think explaining her wound is the most appropriate expansion to her story at this time, as her story revolves around her combat.

OOC Minecraft Username: ItsSienna Are you at least 18 years old?: Yes Have you read the rules? (Link): YesHow did you hear about Avalore?: I found it while searching for Minecraft Roleplay servers on minecraftservers.org.Were you referred by someone? If so, please provide their in-game username: I was not referred by anyone (but I recognise some names!) Introduce yourself if you’d like, as well as any creations you want to share (e.g. art, builds, skins): Hi! I'm Sienna - I've been roleplaying for a number of years now. I'm mute and quite shy, so please be patient with me because I'm really trying my best. My character doesn't yet have a Figura model, but I love the mod and I've made a few fun little models and animations with it that I'd be happy to share at some point. I'm also very happy to help out with anyone who is less experienced with the mod. — In-Character Read the following prompt: The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands. “Nervous?” You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes. “I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in. “Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?” How do you respond (in character)? (250 word minimum - please make sure to include at least three references to our lore in your response, with two coming from different pages in the Compendium.  Two of the three selected should also be in-depth, avoid simply name-dropping lore terms. Tie the terms into your character's backstory. Why are they important to them?) The young traveller looked to the woman, her one good eye refocusing on the present, while her damaged one remained in its glassy, cracked state. She turned away and looked back out towards the scenery. "To tell you the truth, lady, I do not know what I am looking for," she responded softly, her breath drawn out as she pondered the question put before her. "Perhaps a difference in perspective is required to answer that, dear. Allow me to rephrase - why have you left home?" the older woman asked again, the clear signs of advanced wisdom coating her kind words. "Because..." the younger woman started, before pausing again to consider. "This world has many dangers. Dangers I am ill-equipped to face." The waning sunlight peeked into the wagon through the clouds, bringing with it the glint of steel reflected against the sharp, thin blade that the young woman carried with her. The young woman briefly looked down into that reflection, seeing within in the very moment she decided that this was what fate was to offer her. The older woman leaned in closer. "And what dangers does your crystal ball currently show you?" she asked, gesturing to the glint in the sword. The young woman did not reply. Instead, she watched the scene reflect back to her, veiled within the boundary of steel and light. Three gleaming eyes from a monstrous beast, curled horns reminiscent of the story of demons. A moment in time, seemingly stretched into eternity. Frozen. She felt frozen. She felt helpless. And then, she felt pain. The young woman flinched. Even knowing the monster was now separated from her in both time and space, the memory of the incident with that beast caused a scar that ran deeper than the physical wound it inflicted upon her. That helpless feeling was the very feeling her presence was supposed to dissuade in her protectorate - not one she should ever feel herself. "Home... those vast, endless fields of plains and wheat... they are good people. But should a threat manifest in a form that isn't just famine and drought, or perhaps a rampaging wild beast, then home will lose its meaning to many of the farmers that make their abode within those fields." the young woman finally said. Not answering the question, perhaps, but giving enough information to the older one that she was satisfied. "So you have taken it upon yourself to find improvement. A noble cause," the older woman laughed - though her laugh was not malicious, but more understanding. More familiar, like she had heard that story before. The young woman turned back to the older one, her good eye scanning the woman up and down with curiosity. The older woman tilted her head. "So, why south? I heard the Midlands boast a fine and full kingdom. Or perhaps your eye may turn even further north. Surely you would find such improvements elsewhere?" she probed. The young woman fell silent again. The older one smiled a toothy grin, knowing full well the realisation that the youngster was making sense of. "You're not the first. You won't be the last. Admitting to your curiosity now is no selfish act," she reassured the young woman. "...Indeed," the young woman admitted. "Perhaps I fear that my journey has selfish reasons. Though perhaps all journeys are selfish in their essence. I journey south for improvement to my craft, yes. But also... curiosity. Morbid curiosity for those landmarks that lay unsolved. Most important, I feel a..." she trailed off, trying to find the correct words. "A worry for those people less equipped than I that also feel the tug of curiosity." "Such a bold mission statement," the older woman laughed again. "Once you pass that Wall, I suspect I will not see you for a long, long time. Do you think your home in those golden, windswept Steppes will be able to handle existence without their brooding guardswoman?" she teased. The young woman did not smile, for she rarely did, but the humour of the comment was not lost on her.  "They shall have to." — Character Name: Valadra Reeyz Character Race: Human Character Age: 25  Brief Physical Description:  Valadra’s main defining feature is the cut and scar across her left eye, causing the eye itself to turn glassy and grey in its dysfunction - a wound that was inevitable in her line of work. Her good eye is a shade of sapphire blue, shining in the deep black sea that is her long, braided hair.  Valadra’s clothing is usually a similar colour scheme of blue and black, though her more vulnerable parts are covered in small amounts of iron armour. Valadra stands at about 5’8 - not tall and imposing by any means, but her posture stands as one worthy of respect. Image of Skin and Figura Model: No figura model just yet - I'm still working on it!
