I’m a pretty avid roleplayer, although most of my current experience comes from D&D and other TTRPS. I haven’t done a minecraft roleplay for years with most of my experience coming from when I was a kid haha. I am very excited to give it another try though! — In-Character Read the following prompt: The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands. “Nervous?” You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes. “I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in. “Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?” How do you respond (in character)? Tie the terms into your character's backstory. Why are they important to them?) “To get away, quite honestly.” Muirren answers, her voice tinged with the accent of someone who speaks Fey. She turns in her seat to face the older woman, giving her a gentle smile “Life in the Falstones might sound idyllic but if you’ve got aspirations beyond farming, it grows boring quickly. The people are kind, but all the same. I need to find a different purpose in my life, I'm sick of everyday being the same.”  Muirren pauses, reaching into her pack to grab a flask of ale. She takes a sip, before offering one to the older woman who declines it with a smile,  “I’m not really sure what I hope to find in the Reach, but I just need a change of scenery. Maybe I’ll find somewhere to settle down, the mystery of the Spire seems to draw a lot of people in.”  She stops herself to take another sip of her drink before speaking again, “Or maybe the Reach will just be a resting point in my journey. I have always loved the ocean, the few times I’ve been there. Maybe that’s where I’ll go…find myself somewhere along the Mist Isle or the shores of Mori, though I would have to learn Elvish if I chose to stick around there. I’m not sure…but all I know is that I'd like to explore the world. I guess we'll see where that takes me, huh?” Muirren gives the woman a smile, “Where would you recommend I visit? You seem to have explored much more of Avalore than I ever have.” — Character Name: Muirenn Howe Character Race: Human Character Age: 24 Brief Physical Description: Rather unassuming, Muireen stands at 5’5 with broad shoulders and a small frame. She has a round, suntanned face with a smattering of freckles over a small button nose. Her long, light brown hair mimics her personality - a mess of unkempt, disheveled waves that she often opts to pull back into a small bun. Her round eyes are a light green, often emulating the bright smile found on her face. She dresses modestly, often opting for flowy clothes with earth tones.
