Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

A huge, powerful giant, as if carved from ancient stone with wrinkled, thick skin, looked at the woman with a stern gaze. “I am Dvalton Steelbeard” he replied briefly and loudly, his voice low and powerful, like a newly lit forge in distant smithies. "This is all, you need to know." He said to the woman, and withdrew his ale mug from his belt that was twice woman head in size and drinked it.
After two long powerful gulps, he gazed on her again but this time... More calmer. "Fine... You want to know more?" he said and turned to her fully "I am... One of the former elders of my clan of stonerunners, who decided to leave our mountains to see a world, and forge my own destiny, and southern Reach is one of many places i wanted to visit, because of a promise of a new fresh start i heard from various travelers who visited our mountains time to time. Happy?" He grumbled under his nose about annoying humans.
The giant was not very talkative; like any other greatling, he was... Stoic. He raisened his head high, he gazed into the distance toward the distant mountains that had once been his home. The woman saw a tear appear on his wrinkled face, a manly lonely tear that disappeared into the thick growth on his face... It was clear that he was no ordinary stonerunner and that he hid a secret as deep as the depths of the mountains themselves. "I need to go." He whispered, much more to himself then to woman and turned to leave.
