With recent flooding and a number of debris making the hot springs ever more dangerous, the council has agreed to shut the hot springs.
Until the springs can be properly drained, either by nature or people, the doors will be locked.
For those who rely on the springs for bathing, a new bathing area has been set up, free of charge in the undertavern of the Full Cask.
This is in response to the seawater flooding from the recent storms.
There will be shouters calling this news as the rains stop, for the illiterate.
