Penned in simple, flowing script, carefully written yet short enough to read. Posted on the notice board and outside the Town Hall..
I’ve watched too many mouths run wild, somehow thinking the air of the Spire shields them from the weight of their own words. That ends now.
From this day forward, if you speak within my reach, you speak knowing I will remember, record, and respond. If your words twist toward slander, threat, or incitement, I will see them dragged- and you along with them- before the proper channels of the Spire’s law. Whether that means outside of its jurisdiction or otherwise.
Make no mistake: I will not swing a blade nor raise a fist without cause… but I will see to it that every foul word earns its rightful consequence. Do not think that standing on some perceived moral high ground will spare you. Your claimed virtue is no shield, no special currency that buys you escape from consequence. If you speak it, you own it. If you own it, you answer for it.
You are entitled to freedom of speech. You are not entitled to the freedom of consequence.
Speak boldly if you dare-
Just be ready to answer for it.
