Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

Levaen's solid colored eyes studied the others, keeping his arms safely in his lap. The halfling sighed, leaning back just a bit with a tired and overwhelmed look in his features. He wasn't sure what to expect; from the many looks the humans gave him to the silence in the wagon, he sure felt like the odd one out. His blue eyes had given him away, being the product between a fey-touched and an arsa sidhe. He was almost distrustful of other humans, refusing to be in their presence unless he was forced to, just like this.
His ears twitched upon an old woman's voice, her croaks alerting him to be nice, a smile on his features. Blinking, he shook his head, chuckling softly. "No, no I'm -- I'm not nervous, I -" He started, until she spoke again, listening intently then. First time..? This.. well, true, it was his first time. He wanted to avoid it at all costs, but.. what other choice did he have? Stay in that city of humans that didn't like him? It was a hard choice, leaving everything behind, but.. he had to. For his own sanity.
Sighing, he looked down at his hands, closing his eyes then. "Truthfully? To find myself. People who actually accept me for, well.. me. besides, that old town was -- was tiring anyways. I.. there wasn't much to do there, admittedly. It was.. It was too much drama as well." He said, opening his eyes with a forced smile. Behind the smile, however, was fear. Fear that he'd be run out again from the tension in the air, his name spoken behind his back, everything.
He wanted everything to be as normal as possible.

Character Name: Levaen Hraknor Andearaen
Character Race: Halfling (Fey-Touched and Elf.)
Character Age: 47, looks to be in his mid twenties.
Brief Physical Description: Levaen stands at 6'1", rather skinny as well given his elven side, and has solid blue eyes from his fey-touched side. He will normally wear loose clothes with combat boots, making it easier to endure the heat as well as endure the terrain.
