The Order
The Muirghormi Order are only to be found on one isolationist island in the Mistan Isles, Caladhghormi (CAL-UH-GURM-EE). Outsiders are almost always turned away from entering their home.
Little is known about the beliefs of The Muirghormi Order, most information about them is known only from short records, housewife rumours, or often first-hand from an oversharing Muirghormi missionary.
Among Mistans, those of Muirghormi are known to live strict lifestyles and behave strangely when released into the open world at adulthood.
The Muir
One of the oldest Mistan written texts in the entirety of the Isles, dating back to the days of the pioneers. It is from this book that the Muirghormi religion has been passed on from generation to generation and its word spread across the map.
It contains 4 books compiled into one thick and heavy tome:
- Rend
- Details the chaotic beginnings of the Mist Isles.
- Tides
- Explains the relations between the happenings of the oceans and the Siren.
- Oblation
- Outlines various methods on how to give offering to the Siren.
- Keep
- Contains text describing how to live a life with respect to the waters.
The Muir tome is a rare sight, however a Disciple of the Order is never without one grandly bound in navy leather, inset with a great iridescent opal, with silver wire coursing through the spine and cover like shimmering veins.
The Clergy
The Muirghormi Order is organised into ranks.
- Grand Sagart - Little is known about this rank other than its existence.
- Sagart - A preacher of the Muirghormi religion.
- Follower - A worshipper of the Siren.
