The Hallowed Faire
Started by Pyrias

As autumn takes root and the air grows sharp with the promise of frost, the leaves of the Spire’s great trees turn to gold and ember. With them come whispers on the wind—rumors of laughter carried from the lands beyond, of music played by unseen hands, of a festival that flickers between worlds once more.

For three nights only, the fairgrounds of Spiretown shall open their gates to Feyfolk and Spirefolk alike, joined in mirth, mystery, and harmless mischief. All are welcome to dance, feast, and revel beneath the night sky, where tricks and treats mingle freely—yet none bear lasting harm, so long as the fun is taken in kind.

All enchantments, illusions, or peculiar transformations shall remain temporary within the bounds of the fair, dissolving at its close. So long as guests partake in good cheer and fair play, no spell nor prank shall linger beyond dawn.

However, let it be known to all with ears to hear—any who would seek to obstruct, spoil, or bring ill intent upon the revelry of Fey or Spirefolk shall forfeit this courtesy, and the protections of the festival’s accord shall no longer apply to them.

And presiding over the revelry, it is said, will be the Witch of the South herself—the Lady Noctis, whose seal marks the accord between mortal and fey.

Come, if you dare, to the crossroads where laughter echoes and the veil grows thin!

Presented to you by,

THE GREAT GRUMPKIN,
Facet of the Mage Who Is,
The Lady of the Weave,
Strawman Jack,
The Witch of the South,
Sir Celeste and His Coven,
Knight of the Night,
The Reveler,
Monby,
The Deerest,
and the lovely Lady Bramble

When the third night fades and the fires gutter out, the Hallowed Faire will vanish once more—leaving behind only stray leaves, half-remembered dreams, and the taste of cider on the tongue.

WHEN: October 17th, officially opening at 7pm EST & October 19th, officially opening at 12pm EST.

WHO: All with good intention and interest in whimsy are welcomed.

WHERE: The Spire’s Southern Stage/Fairgrounds

[This festival will have two main times for when the attractions will be active, with the day in between being pop-ups based on DM availability and the contest submissions]

NA & EU ATTRACTIONS

GRUMPKIN PAINTING & RACES (Starring The Great Grumpkin for NA & EU)

Paint your own mischievous Grumpkin — a plump, willful gourd prone to rolling away if laughed at too loudly! Once decorated, line up for the Great Grumpkin Race, where creativity, luck, and a little coaxing magic determine which pumpkin rolls home with glory.

COST: 2 tickets for race / painting is free

WHEEL O’ WOE;  (Starring Facet of the Mage Who Is for NA & EU)
This attraction is RNG-based with temporary effects given out.

Step right up and give the Wheel o’ Woe a spin—but beware! You may find facets of yourself laid bare, for the Fey’s humor is fickle. You may sprout fox ears, turn your voice into song, or find yourself irresistibly honest for longer than you’d like.

These effects end as soon as you step outside of the fairgrounds, or when you pay up two tickets for a tonic at the Giggling Cauldron.

COST: 1 ticket per spin.

THREE-LEGGED RACE; (Starring Knight of the Night NA & EU)
This attraction is DEX-centric and co-op based.

Find a partner, tie your legs together, and trust each other as you sprint, stumble, and laugh toward the finish! Grace and balance are key.

COST: 3 tickets, valid for both participants.

BELL-BEARING BALL;  (Starring Monby for NA & EU)
This attraction is STR-centric with a high-score board.

Test your might and strike the enchanted ball! The stronger the swing, the louder the bell rings—colors of autumn sparking forth the harder it is struck.

COST: 1 ticket per attempt.

THE HAY-MAZING LABYRINTH
This attraction is asynchronous, relying on following signs and good faith rolls.

A twisting maze of haybales, illusion, and shadow—paths that loop, whispers that mislead, and laughter that may not be as mortal as you’d like.

The task of it, to answer: Who am I?

BEST DRESSED OF THE HALLOWED EVE
This attraction is for each fair time, and one overall, relying on skinning skill.

Dare to dazzle, frighten, or charm! The Fey are watching—and so are your peers. Don your finest attire, be it haunting or divine, and stun the crowd of festival-goers.

ARTISANAL CONTEST
This attraction is asynchronous, relying on item-formatting skill.

The faire’s craftsmen and creators bring their best—from charms carved of bone to confections shaped like beating hearts. Every submission whispers of artistry and trickery both. Originality and creativity is king, in this contest.

THE REVELER’S TEST;  (Starring Sir Celeste and The Reveler for EU & NA)
This attraction is STR-centric with possibility of bets.

Raise your mug and your mettle! Each round grows stronger, stranger, and more sentient. Will you outdrink your rivals, or will the brew outwit you first?

COST: 1 ticket to enter contest.

THE GIGGLING CAULDRON; (Starring Sir Celeste and His Coven for EU & NA)
This attraction is for tavern and food RP.

The faire’s heart and hearth! Warm cider, curious brews, and strange delicacies bubble beneath laughter. Those who linger may find their reflections winking back, depending on how much they indulge in.

COST: Drinks and food will cost small amounts of crowns.

VENDORS;
This attraction is player-based, where they may set up shop to sell wares.

Anyone interested in selling their wares are able to reach out to schedule setting up a stall. This can be any sort of wares from fall-themed trinkets, to weapons.

FORTUNE TELLING; (Starring The Lady of Weave for NA & EU)
This attraction is for divining card readings.

Step into the silken tent of the Lady of Weave, where the air hums with candlelight and whispers of fate. Her cards shimmer faintly with threads of silver, each turn revealing glimpses of what was, is, or might yet be.

COST: 2 tickets per reading.
