I'm a 20 year old carpenter and love to make medieval type builds but often miss some social and roleplay aspects. I've done a bit of roleplay on Discord but i think it'll be exciting to try mixing it with gameplay.

Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

Alex sighed for a moment before responding, the heaviness around him making it clear he has left something behind, and that it is not with ease that he is making the journey.
"Well ma'am, a new start..."
"I used to be with a huge caravan, fixing wagons and houses in the cities we travelled through; i'm a carpenter you see. The caravan was called 'the star se-'... well the name doesn't matter. One day, while fixing a house-wagon, this big wagon that was practically a home on wheels, I caught someone trying to steal. I reported it and people gathered, trying to think of a fitting punishment. I suggested some nights in jail on account of the thief being a kid, but the others... well they wanted a harsher punishment. My idea was overruled and that's when i knew that i was done. I left the night right after."
"Supposedly it was Brenna, the leader of the caravan, who laid out the final word. If i ever see her i'd like to have a talk with her... but until then i'm gonna go to the spire, and hopefully learn a lot. The first thing that really got me hooked was when i heard that the thing is made of some indestructible stone or something. And when i heard how quick the town had grown i knew there was business and money to be made, so really it was the only place that made sense to go."
"To be honest with you, i'm not just going to get more work... I want to learn the sword you see. I heard there's a militia at The Spire too. I'm gonna go to them, find the toughest warrior there and he's gonna teach me how to swing an axe at something other than wood. You might be wondering why. Remember that kid? Well i broke him out of our prison wagon, told him to make a run for it and i did too. I'm sure they haven't forgotten that, my people i mean, we aren't really the forgetting kind and until they find me i might as well do all i can to at least have a chance to survive any encounter with them or Brenna herself."
"Sorry for spilling my life story, it's just been boiling inside a bit too long." He chuckles "Anyway, enough about me, tell me about yourself."

Character Race: Human
Character Age: 22
Brief Physical Description: Well-built and rugged, more often dirty than clean as his life is his work, constantly finding tasks with caravans and the cities through which they pass. His eyes are steel-blue, often mistaken for grey rather than blue. Blonde wavy hair that's unkempt and often sits flat against his head because of the dirt and sawdust filling the spaces between each hair. Calloused hands and strong forearms from using axes and tools for most of his life.
