Hello, I am Mochi. My birthday is December 15th! I enjoy writing, drawing, skinning, and sometimes I like to build. I've been RPing for a long time and I am hoping to make friends and have fun.

Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

Kaho seemed to take a moment to register where she was and wipes away the drool from her chin as she studies the elderly woman. Then she softly smiles and clears her throat as she fiddles with her sleeves. "I am a wandering apothecarist from Ko'ram. My family actually settled in Iria when I was little, but before we were in Uul'san and fled when we could from there. Especially since we were struggling seven years ago during the harsh winters and the war that happened during it. I was about fourteen when it happened, my big brother was sent to fight for the Odokhi Clan as he was about eighteen or so. I don't really remember that much, but I remember that one day while struggling to stomach stale rice, we were given news that he had perished." She idly taps a carved wooden charm that hangs from her neck on a leather cord.
"We really tried our best, even my older sister, Yume had to work with my mother for extra coin, or at least try to as even with money it didn't really matter since there was little food. My father taught me the different ways to create herbal remedies and my mother taught me the ways of sewing over the years and my Yume eventually went and got married to a good family. We no longer starved and my curious mind plucked at anything that I could grab at when it came to other places and other tales. Perhaps I can learn more about these fables that I hear about on the road, like the Divine Gardeners tale that always piqued my interest.”
Kaho only gasped for some air as she fumbled out her words ecstatically, “ Just imagine! All the unique and wonderful types of plants! Plus I wouldn't mind...well, not being attacked by cats. I don't know why, but whenever I tried to pet one, they would just bite me. Is that an ill omen? I hope not." She would lightly scratch at her cheek with a meek smile. "Or just see what the world has to offer. As long as I do not cross paths with an Inmyeonjo no matter how well I would not let cats bite me if I found answers to that Fable that won't save me from that thing! My big brother used to scare me with stories just before bed if I didn’t behave so that it would come after me. Those…bird monsters, I know that they are just stories…maybe…em, it is still a real thing I do fear, silly huh? - Ah, I am rambling again aren't I? I didn't even introduce myself." Fumbling with her herbal basket, she awkwardly bows with her hands gripping the straps of the basket. "I am Shirakawa Kaho, it is nice to meet you."
Straightening up, her purple eyes curiously studied the stranger before adding. "And thank you for such a warm welcome. Em, I do hope to meet a lot more people like you. Then again, the world can be quite cruel. However-! My spirit grows restless and I must continue on my way. Perhaps we can talk again, and well...maybe you can talk more." She bows with a cheeky little laugh before stumbling out of the carriage and into the world where she wandered about.

Brief Physical Description: Kaho stands at 5'5'' and 132 lbs. Her hair is dark brown and her eyes are a deep rich purple almost a plum color. She often wears various colored kimonos with hakama and a haori for easy travel and getas to keep her feet clean and dry as possible. Her outfits would be adorned with various charms and tassels and she wears glasses due to long nights of making special herbal blends in candlelight.
