Are you at least 18 years old?: im 25
Have you read the rules? (Link): Im pretty sure
(Optional) Were you referred by someone? If so, who: In 2013 I had finished getting caught up on the youtube lets play series Shadow of Israphel created by the Yogscast, and was searching for minecraft servers to join and have a similar roleplay esque experience, I had heard of fantasy roleplaying games, because who hasnt, but had never properly played one before. I joined a minecraft roleplaying server and screwed around on it for a few days before getting banned because I hadnt read any of its lore, I would then move to a different roleplaying server (which im pretty sure is the one we all are familiar with but I will not state the name of), I did actually read the lore this time, but I didn't stick around for particularly long.
A few months later I joined a Pathfinder campaign with a few acquaintances from a text based forum roleplay site, that I will also not name. I played a pirate character who was afraid of the sea named Hydros. Then Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition came out, and my group decided we would switch over to that (boy was that a mistake. 2014 5e ranger SUCKED), I made a new character with a bit more thought named Artesia (I had been watching Gundam 0097 at the time and liked the character Sayla Mass quite a bit so I quite un-originally lifted her name for my character). I was having such a fun time with this 5e group playing Artesia that I wanted to play her more than once a week in the campaign, so I remembered the old roleplaying minecraft server I had joined and choose to try playing her there. That is when I truly learned how much fun this style of roleplay could be. I will admit. I wish I had spent more time on that previous roleplaying minecraft server. Some of the greatest roleplaying moments of my entire life where there, and it is a great regret of mine that my activity on the server was so on and off. I spent a lot of time in other places that treated me a lot worse, I put a lot of time into people that I thought where friends that would eventually give me nothing but pain instead. Maybe if I had instead put that time into that roleplaying server, I wouldn't have had to go through those things, and maybe I would be a bit happier today.
But to answer your question. No one referred me here, I was referred here by a lingering feeling of nostalgia for sitting at my HP all in one Pavilion desktop in a condo in Las Vegas all night pretending to be Artesia Vaneme the elf and being struck with an intense desperation to do anything I could to save my best friend from a mad god.
(Optional) Introduce yourself if you’d like, as well as any creations you want to share (e.g. art, builds, skins): i will introduce myself with my actions

In-Character
Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”
How do you respond (in character)?
Breslyn Maxven sat in the bumpy wagon ride with the hood of his pristine travelers cloak pulled up, and both hands tucked behind his head. He opened one eye to glance at the elderly woman who was attempting to grab his attention. A slight grin grew on his face and he leaned toward her, pushing his hood back to reveal his brushed back dirty blonde hair, tanned skin, and bright blue eyes.
"Ah yeah, how ya going? Im a Mistan from outs east, heard lotta stories a'bout this whole Spires yous got and thoughts id give it a burl!" the man who called himself Bresyln spoke very loudly, and said his words a bit slow "Me brother is a big shot back home, made a big ol trek for his twentieth and climbed every damn mountain on the island, its the only thing ever geezer in town can talk about, so hearin all about the Reach and all them elveies poppin away, and their big ol glowin tower, im thinkin, go big or go home Brezzie!" the man who called himself Breslyn leaned back and forth as he talked, practically shouted, at the old woman, causing the wagon to creak more than it already was. He made hand gestures as he spoke, raising a hand there, swishing it from left to right here, as if the hand motions where a part of the language he spoke.
"A-ah..." the old woman tried to speak and slowly lean away from the Mistan as he rambled on.
"So there I am, got me a fancy new cloak, got me a trip on the tinny, then Is move onto here wobbly wagon on me ways to those Southern Reach. Figure the wagon'l stop, ill find the first place to get me a Cold One, then its off to make a quid. Anyways how bout you?"
