This is taking chances, this is almost touching, what the beauty is.

A healer of the newer generation of House Noctis, eager to follow upon the path lit upon by her Aunt within the Southern Reach.

AURORE stands with unassuming confidence, dressed in the fineries befitting both her station and the present climate. Her fair-colored skin is smooth and unblemished, saved for her roughened hands, hinting at her work within and beyond Mistspire Keep, tending to the Knights Nautical and sea-weary sailors alike. Her downy blonde hair is always clean and well-kept, often tied back in an a half-up, half-down do in order to keep her sight clear. However, in recent years, she has begun to also tie it back into a bun, as if to conceal the whitening locks, bordering on pure white. Her pale gray eyes never betray any emotion beyond warmth to the common acquaintance; a glance aside is never a sign of disinterest, but rather a quiet calculation of how best perform in the scene before her.

Aurore's inquisitive nature is tempered only by the manners becoming of a noblewoman, though perhaps courtiers and tutors would argue her status only emboldens her to seek answers. Her mother looked upon the budding optimism of her youth with fear of naivety; in hopes of curbing such a sickness in her early adolescence, she encouraged her to become a healer's apprentice to foster her empathy in the face of hardship. To ensure she would be able to defend herself and those she held dear, her father trained her in the manner of a squire, he as her shining Knight. It appeared to be successful, as Aurore grew to develop her intellect and faculties in service of others.
Aurore prides herself on said intellect and optimism for a better world, which can lend to an easy portrayal of self-absorption, surely enough; yet her methodical way of speaking, of reasoning through a problem to arrive at its solution, hints that such intellect can be isolating and quite frustrating, when the solution is not as apparent to those around her. Close confidants to the young lady note her brief, hot anger when faced with a mathematical proof or a bodily process that does not appear clear to her at first glance. She attempts to hold close to the tenet of Restraint put forth by her House, but her passion can often be a contradictory force. To Aurore, to be gifted much is to be expected to return it tenfold.
Upon the end of her 17th year, under the light of the Lantern, Aurore grew quietly bored of machinations of courtly life, the same way the director of a well-loved play finds itself unexcited by each "new" angle performers presented on the stage. To better the lives of their retainers within their claim from a lofty distance, only departing down from the nest briefly to provide a helping hand in calamity was no longer enough. Inspired by her father, Alden Noctis, who chose to reject Knighthood to House Aeronwy and thus his destiny as the head of the Noctis Household, Aurore chose not to continue her work as a Physician not within the comfort of Eryndor, where she would have likely served nobles with their menial, repetitive ailments, but within the Seneschalty of the Southern Reach. Emboldened by the lofty, bright image of her Aunt, obscured by the Siren's Fog and the distance that comes between separated generations, she penned her intentions to be of service, and set on her way to Caz-on-Bord and onwards.
