The void-born bearing grey crystalline scales over his arms, along with a small plate emerging over his forehead. 6'ft 10''inches in height and a stature alike a Greatling—though without the horns, but making up for that with a void-touch's tail. A sea-glass necklace gifted to him.

It blurred in his mind, the waking empty of a dream without context; a formless, drifting, cold and warmth his first greeting. The feeling the warmth on his back and the burr of cold over him—the soft sharpness dancing in gentle ruffles against his arms... and his eyes opened. The stars above and the moonlit sky, then the warmth of life on his back as grass and earth comforted his rest. A new man, born or made?

It was the beach-side forest that he knew—where he met a man older than himself. A man who spoke with joy and warmth, giving lessons of life and guidance in wisdom; teaching skills and craftsmanship in turn. A merchant who hailed from The Pearl Coast, his mentor, and who'd left for home within the months they'd share of hearth. A man who he's come to emulate in bits and pieces—who taught him of the home he knew and the culture he'd parted with by coming to the Reach. It's him who taught this void-touched of society and humanity, of a world he'd be soon to join—and a world this mentor sought to prepare him for—even if it wasn't much.

It's here, now, that he steps in and out of the Spire he's scarcely got to know. A man who's finding his place in sharing the warmth he was given, and hoping to find more warmth in others in turn.

• Nergui - Greatling, first person spoken to in Spire Town, was busy.

A nice folk, met them at the opening night for the Void Hearth Keep! They were one of the first person I'd met, and only recently learned their name. They took up my offer on taste testing any new menu items as well!

• Frey - Fey-touched, Amafell Mountains (east), shy, wants to learn magic, was alongside Greatling.

A shy man, soft-spoken, but wanting to learn magic. Is one of the first people met, alongside a Greatling woman. They want to learn 'Ether' magic—'void' magic. They might be in need of equipment—did not get to ask. However, I have gotten to battle alongside them—somewhat! They were in the other party defending the Falstoners from bandits.

• Astral Dusk - Void-touched, new, Ember Blade, curious, lives in the Katakawa Shrine.

He's still learning about the world alike me, but is exceptionally new. The man aqcuired a name at the Charter, joining the Ember Blades. I forged equipment for them—alongside two blades. Ward and Sunder. We fought alongside each other to protect Falstoners from bandits as well! I was part of the opposite party, but we'd met up after clearing the mountain range.

• Asuka - Arsa Sidhe, Liria (north-west), knowledgeable, tailor, lives in the Greenhouse Tailor

Owns greenhouse next to the hospital, hosting Ain, and has endured barrages of inquiry—knowledgeable about the world. I've delivered their commission to them, and was given back a blanket in return! I've also sent Astral Dusk to their tailor shop to see them fitted!

• Ain - Void-touched, enigmatic, warrior-to-be, lives with Asuka, wants sword made.

Met the same day as the Nameless One, but arrived later to the fighting pit when most had left. They seemed disgruntled, present, but hard to understand—if not for Asuka's interpretations. I've recently gotten to speak with them again and they were much more spoken! The blade I forged for them has been delivered as well.

• Hazel - Human, friendly, injured, accompanied by Greatling, paired with during wedding volleyball.

A new face, but friendly. They paired with me during the wedding's festivity, volleyball, against Anwar and Kyrus. They had bandaging around arm, but played well—I look forward to meeting them again.

• Anwar - Human, friendly, given gift, wedded by Kyrus.

They'd given tea when I'd first met my unnamed kin and Ain, and we met again at their wedding. I gave a lantern-censer, one which I crafted for The Pearl Coast to myself, but thought it fitting to offer as a gift for their beach-wedding. We played against one another in volleyball; played well—I got ice cream.

• ️ Akalis - Human, detached but ambitious, big hat, first spar against magic.

He was eager to practice his skills—thought to spar with him. The man wasn't too emoted, not impressed by own skills, but was eager to improve. He was my first fight against magic, using ice and a knife—forced me to kneel, but spar went well! Had to forfeit.
