Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

Pastel yellow sclera met warm, wise eyes. A sheepish smile made its way onto the young boy’s face, his hands itching to fiddle with something, reaching for the ends of his shabby dark hair. He thought about what the old woman had asked him, why was he here.
He knew the answer just not how to say it. It was hard enough sneaking onto this wagon. Now he was getting interrogated by an nosy old woman.
“ I, um, I need to prove myself.”
He managed uttered out, his confidence building up as heard himself speak, it was true. He was here to prove himself worthy, worthy of his heritage. The old fiery mountains of the Ashlands sprung to his mind, the dust in the air, the humidity that seemed to seep it's way into your lungs, the heat of the magma that could scald your face from a mile away and his family. He paused for a minute, a far away look in his eyes.
That all didn't matter now, he was going to find a better home, one he had earned. No one would be able to doubt him then.
Shaking himself out of his thoughts, he turns back to the kind-looking older woman, a new unbridled confidence dripping from his features. He had a goal, one he was destined to achieve or die trying. It was in his blood.
“ I’m going to find some land of my own, in the most dangerous place I can find.” He said proudly, a crooked smile plastered to his face.

Character Name: Morith Flamir
Character Race: Fey-Touched
Character Age: 16
Brief Physical Description: Morith is a scrawny, overconfident, Fey-Touched, He stands at a proud 5’2. He hails from the volcanic mountains of the Ashlands, as such his skin is tanned from the open skies and burning flames of his homeland. He has shoulder length black hair which is usually halfheartedly tied up. He wears anything he can find, his current outfit is a patchwork of different tunics he’s poorly sewn together, and some ineffective leather shoulder piece with a dragon emblem embedded into it.
Being as young as he is, his Fey-Touched features are still to appear fully, other than the very tips of his fingers turning a smokey black and the odd scale on his arms. His only defining features are his pale yellow sclera.
