The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.

You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

*The soft spoken fae-touched, with a strange green hair and pinkish-purple eyes answers rapidly* Hi friend! Yes, first time in the Reach, even tho I am very used to travel like this, barely bringing anything and with a bunch of strangers in a wagon. Why am I here, you ask? Well, I just got bored of the midlands, those huge wet, hot forests are cool, but I’ve been there so long already, you know how much 6 years is for me? It’s basically a lifetime! (and there were some ugly people quite mad at me, just some boring rich rich bird blazons *blinks with an eye*), the wall was kind of a rush to pass through tho, I caught some beef with a few guards there and they just wouldn't let me pass, ugh, those peacemakers, so boring, just because some people caught on fire after stepping close to my settle they wanted to judge me, its not my fault if they are so curious and its not my fault they were trying to inspect if I had illegal stuff *huff*, I just had to pass quickly, barely brought any of my cool stuff, I will miss my plants, especially those self combusting ones (T^T). *Ahem* Anyways, I am just looking for a new place to settle for a while and you know, maybe I find some really cool stuff out here, I have been lacking a few plants for my book that I might find over here, new ingredients! (and poisons to play with *she giggles*). By the way, my name is Jaz, how about you, why are you here?
