Mostly just snooping around to see other systems and play around with other pieces of lore. Ive no idea if I am going to be particularly invested here, but I enjoy doing some drawing and warhammer miniature painting.

The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

Jackie's nose crinkled slightly at the query, eyes shifting up from the lucky coin she had been rolling between her digits. She had clung to it for the better parts of the last three years, hoping to stem the tide of inexorable absurdities that plagued the Valkian Human's life so often. "I don't think it proper to ask any stranger how they are feeling out of the blue, Miss. Folks could be going through anything - Hell, this could be my fiftieth time and I've just been having a rough go at it." The rebuke softened somewhat as she realized she was just outright mouthing off to an elder, and she exhaled - Leaning back into the seat. ".. Sorry. Been having exactly that - But it is the first time. Left home after my business went kaput. Just kept having.. Strange things happen to me. Not of my own accord, you know - But my shipments always seemed to arrive four days late. Pipes would spring leaks - I have just been unfathomably unlucky One time, a shipment of food from the Fallstone that was due for me did arrive on time. They discovered an entirely new and undiscovered mold on it - Turned it back."
She would rant and ramble for some time, laying her frustrations out for the older woman -- but through it all, it just seemed.. Absurd. Jackie was no temptress of fate, nor cursed fey-touched. Just.. Plain. Unadorned. Painfully, painfully average. A middle daughter raised amongst a modest trading family reselling average quality goods to the soldiers along the wall. It ended as the ride concluded - The woman hopping off the wagon with a sharp exhale and a clatter of tools and armor. ".. Suppose I might change my fortunes, here. Good luck, Miss."
