I'm fairly new to Minecraft RP and not as experienced with RP in general. I joined my first and only RP server some time last summer but things happened that made me want to branch out. I like to do a lot of modeling in Figura. Specifically modeling armor and weapons which I tend to make for friends or very rarely for commissions.
Here's some of my best work

In-Character
Read the following prompt:
The sound of clinking glasses and idle chatter welcome you in as you find yourself stepping into The Full Cask. An older man with a full mustache and warm smile beckons you over to the bar he's tending. His gazes washes over you, a glint of some knowing look shining in his eyes. As you sit, his voice rumbles out:
"Hello there stranger! What can I get for you?"
After you order, he continues to make small talk. "You must be a newcomer. I'm Maarten, glad to meet you." He says with a certain kindness in his tone.
"Tell me, what brings you to the Spire?"
How do you respond (in character)? (250 word minimum - please make sure to include at least three references to our lore in your response, with two coming from different pages in the Compendium. Two of the three selected should also be in-depth, avoid simply name-dropping lore terms. Tie the terms into your character's backstory. Why are they important to them?)

Your Response:
Emeric reaches out his hand, offering it to the man across the bar. "Good day, Maarten, pleasure’s mine" As their hands clasp he kept his grip firm before releasing it to perform a playful, slightly exaggerated bow, the sound of armor rustling as he did so. "Sir Emeric, at your service". The gesture itself coupled with the man's large and clumsy looking armor made for quite a curious sight.
"I see you've an eye for newcomers" He clears his throat "Ahem, that is to say... Yes, I am a stranger around these parts." He pauses before taking a swig of the ale placed in front of him "Guess you'd like to hear my story then?"
“Hmm, guess I’ll start from the beginning...” He said, clapping his hands together “Used to live among the distant shores of Ko’ram. Born youngest amongst the three brothers of Clan Althorn, A sizeable family, yet a single droplet of water compared to the vast ocean that is the Four Great Clans.”
“We were a clan of warriors, trained in the art of defense and martial combat. Under the support of Clan Kensho, we protected their northern borders for generations against Odokhi’s invasions.”
He takes another sip of his ale “As the youngest in the family, I was not burdened with the same expectations as my brothers. Where I was frequently left to my own devices, they held the weight of the clan’s future.”
He shrugs “It was good then that I had little interest in clan matters. Instead, I found that my heart yearned to leave those rocky shores and venture off into the lands beyond. Thus, when I grew of age, I left with nothing but a handful of supplies and the clothes on my back, hitching a ride with a band of Valkian merchants that our clan held close relations with”
“We split paths once we got to the Midlands. For a good few years I made my home within its lush forests, camping out in the wild and travelling from city to city, working as mercenary and taking on any odd jobs that would suit me”
He sighs “It was a simpler time then. Made a couple friends along the way, a few enemies here and there, even worked as a bodyguard for one of those prissy Valkian nobles”
“After that, I caught the attention of a Knight’s Order” The man points to the crest on his tabard “Started as a squire before slowly rising up the ranks” Pausing for a moment before downing the rest of his ale. “They were good folk, treated me like one of their own. Stayed with them for a good 5 or so years” His tone turned to melancholy “A shame what fate had in store for them. Nothing we could do against a hungry dragon. Twas a frightening creature. No limbs, no wings, but the speed in which it moved... Came at us like we were slabs of meat. There were only a lucky handful of us who survived after it had its fill and left. We ended up separating afterwards”
He stands from his chair, returning to his normal, more cheerful tone “Anyhow, with nowhere else to go, decided to come here. I heard a lot of interestings stories about this place. Most are probably just rumors but with all the talk about this Spire and people coming and going, thought there’d be no better place to make a name for myself.”
He gives the bartender a small wave before turning to leave “I'll be off then... maybe next time you’ll hear me in a song”
As he walks to the door, his leg catches on a stool, causing him to stumble as he exits.
