⌞Ashlands⌝
- News spreads fast of a devastating volcanic eruption near Dragon's Tongue Pass. The situation is further marred with rockslides following that have completely cut off the Ashlands from the Unexplored Wastes. Some cry that there must be something foul at play, as in only a week one of the most prominent Ashborne raiders was due to be sent off into the wastes. Others wonder if it was a sign from The Fire Dragon that such a punishment was not going to be fit for such a formidable warrior. Whatever it may be, Braemir the Bloody-Beard remains in the basalt dungeons at Port Sulferm until new arrangements can be made to punish the scoundrel.
⌞Gatetown, The Swamps, Southern Reach⌝
- Residents of Gatetown saw its first self-made victory today when a hunting party, consisting of five walljacks, returned home with the corpse of a Horned Monarch trailing behind them. The hunting party had responded to claims of a large faun ravaging livestock and destroying property. Following this lead the party successfully tracked the faun away from Gatetown for three days, where on the third day they finally managed to corner the faun in its own territory. The return of the hunting party meant Gatetown entered a grand night of festivities and feast, with the hunting party taking a majority of the festive spoils. The celebrations lasted for three nights to resemble the journey of the hunting party. Many Gatetown residents are still merry, with morale in the town remaining at an all time high.
⌞Mistan Isles⌝
- Recovery did not take as long as initially expected from the Tideblight outbreak. Certainly, recovery was helped by Queen Gwennora's monetary aid for those who suffered. Mass vigils were held throughout communities in the Isles, and now a sense of normalcy has truly returned as the short-term quarantine on any arriving or departing ships from the Isles is fully lifted. New ships have been commissioned bearing House Castella's crest. They set sail for distant lands carrying off the improved Mistweave as a further sign of the economic recovery being experienced not only in Sirensong, but throughout the Isles. While there is mostly good news, some town criers warn that there is growing discontent over how passive the current Mistcaller had been through the plague. Some of the most outspoken are even calling for Elder Kypthane's removal.
⌞Uul'san, Ko'ram⌝
- News from Ko'ram's Uul'san comes that after a year of work, the first portion of the Grand Canal between the Gold and Bó Head Rivers has been completed. According to certain whispers, Great Clan Moon's very own prince Seongmin was present at the unveiling ceremony as a gesture of friendship between the titans of the western continent, and that high-ranking Odokhi officials were extended an invite to an upcoming meeting in Mori Province—the purpose of which remains unclear.
The developments come as Adarkhin piracy and tolling against Clan Moon merchant shipping intensifies in retaliation for their funding of the canal project, and diplomats are beginning to suspect that the intricate network of alliances among the Great Clans of Ko'ram is soon to undergo a massive realignment.
