I'm pretty inexperienced at art and Minecraft building but I have been roleplaying for around eight years now! So I'm looking forward to playing with you all in Avalore! Soup told me a lot of what the last one was like and it sounded really cool so I'm excited to be here and contribute as a new player.

The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has lead you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

In a panic Elrik's eyes dart upwards from the book he once more found himself lost in, he shuts it quickly. "WHAT! erm, sorry, me!? Well I suppose it depends on who you ask... If you asked my family they would tell you 'he's gone to find greater strength so we can crush the northmen who threaten our home!'. If you asked the Valkian academy? Well they'd tell you 'he's here on official Valkian business and that business is none of yours!'. If you asked me however; He shifts and seems to relax a little I'd tell you that I'm here to study the spire, for my own sake I've come to at least try and find an answer to one of the world's greatest questions. That's not to say I don't love my family, or my kinsmen mind you, it's just, as the third child a lot less of the table is set for you when you get to it. Maybe one day I can return to my brothers, strong enough, smart enough to assist in the governing of the realm, but until then... His sweat covered face glances outside the wagon, the sun beats down on his brow. Here I sit in this scorching heat."

Brief Physical Description: Elrik is a very pale and thin man with long dark red hair, thick round glasses cover his rather gauntish facial features. He carries a sword and shield, he sports half-plate armor. At his side attached to a belt is a book with a wilted flower on the cover, occasionally you might find him writing in it. His signet ring gleams in the clear sky, the crest of is a rose made from Valkian Blacksteel.
