Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”
The ashen skinned man with snow coloured hair that would cascade down his face and into a braid under his chin would turn to smile at the woman. His green eyes filled with hope and promise.
"A new start, it would seem." He would look down to his palms, stained with burns from his old life. He would clap his hands together and jolt with enthusiasm as if escaping a dream.
"A new start indeed! A chance to dive into the new and to uncover a story that was ordained by the stars themselves!" He hand would wave out in front of him with an outstretched finger.
"A light. What I saw was no ordinary sight at all. The fire that seemed to me to light the sky, flying through the bear above just as I decided it was time for me to find my place. The bear is what I was born under so there's no better a sign than to agree with my plans for the future than to literally light up the sky with the flames of creation and set me upon my path towards my destiny." The man would slump back down from his animated explanation with a smile so wide it could have run away with the rest of him.
"Destiny is calling and I will not disappoint. This I swear."

Character Name: Snow
Character Race: Stonerunner Greatling
Character Age: 46
Brief Physical Description: Standing at a modest 7 foot 10. His skin the colour of ash like that in the base of the forges he has worked at. His hands burned red with the desensitised heat receptors allowing him to handle things he really shouldn't leaving permanent reminders. His hair a mane of white which is where he got his name from that is tied into a neat brade under his chin to keep it in check. He can be classed as a rather imposing with a slightly muscular build from being a working man. And his best feature is a smile so big (and a bravado to match) that no matter what happens it never seems to fade.
