    With the elections for the Interim Council looming I, Dr. Konrad Radziwill, would like to declare my support for a candidate. Those that know me and have spoken to me know of my aversion to matters of politics, but in the interest of seeing stability returned to the town in the guiding hands of someone that has demonstrated even-handedness, a level head, and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of our community,

I declare my support for Meriel Noctis as Councilor

    I believe Lady Meriel has shown fortitude and fairness, despite having been a target of certain unfounded rumours. As well, she has shown a strong moral disposition and a willingness to work with all even in the most difficult and turbulent of times. She has made excellent points in the need for a transparent Codex of Law for the town, a codex made in consultation with the townsfolk. The idea of reviving an organised militia has also been suggested by Meriel, one that is focused on the defense of the town against external threats and in service of the town, its people, and its laws.

    Meriel has also made it known she wishes to take multiple different approaches in not only growing the Spire, but also in asserting its independence from those that wish to encroach upon the Reach through the way of growth. She has promised better infrastructure to facilitate local trade, grants to artisans, and subsidies to farmers, fishers, and the Spire's local businesses, all in an effort to have the Spire stand tall and unite the townsfolk.

    In addition, Meriel has spoken of intent to encourage diplomatic outreach to not just the Valkian Realm but to other nations and groups such as the Stonerunners, Korami, or even Mistans to try and strengthen the Spire's independence and to ensure that no one group will hold dominance over the Spire.

    Based on her previous record and current goals for the Spire, Lady Meriel Noctis has my full confidence and support in this interim election, and I know that she will be an effective Councilor if given the opportunity.
