Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

Qhiri lulled her head back and forth with the motions of the wagon, occasionally tuned into the conversations following around her. Ears tuning in and out as they please but the conversations ignored all the same,
Qhiri gave the older woman a silent blink, one eye at a time, like a frog. Idling moving to pick at the leaves that dotted her arms, and the bark that is her right arm. Lulling her head back.. And forth as she listened to the old woman, moving to lean away from the older woman once they leaned in.. Skittish this one.
Qhiri nodded slowly at the ‘first time’ comment. Spitting out jagged speech in broken words, “...From past.. wall.. Small.. Place.. Live in.. woods. Tree burnt..so.. Explore. Looking for.. pact.. got lost. To far into swamp..” Qhiri is clearly struggling to form proper sentences, words are not her strong suit, nor communication in general. They’d fiddle with the makeshift animal skull helmet, flicking it a few times as it made a silent ‘clunk’. The skull belonged to a long dead Bogstrider Qhiri had happened upon in her many wanders among the swamps, which she has affectionately named 'Fen'

Character Race: Fey-Touched (WoodLand)
Character Age: 15
Brief Physical Description: Qhiri was about 4'11, constantly resting on her toes as she often walked without a sound. Fully adapted to life in the woods on her own and minding her business, of course, she’s still as curious as any other person but cautious about it. Rather runty for her age but she makes do. Carrying the BogStrider skull helmet around on their head with pelts used as clothes and a coat-cape.
Her right arm dawns a sprawling pattern of bark as the rest of her body sprouts the occasional leaf clusters or swirling patterns and patches of bark. Her hair is decorated with mini red maple leaves that blend in with the bright ginger hair. Often resorting to chirping or clicking noises for communication instead of words.
