The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

Viktoria would take a moment at the sudden question from the older woman sat beside her, before giving a small glance around at the others before speaking. “Why? Well, that’s quite a question that I myself have yet to fully think of.” She’d say, still unsure why she’s travelling herself. “If I had to really think about it, it would be learn more about the other cultures I have been told about from my homeland. Being far out west with the Korami and the more warrior culture I was raised in, there wasn’t much in the way of knowledge that didn’t pertain to best improving ones fighting capabilities.” As she’d let out a small stifled chuckle, recalling a memory of her parents grilling into her the art of the fight. “Though that was more of my fathers teaching, as he wanted to make sure I can fend for myself in case others might not be too kind if they know I have Arsa Sidhe blood in my veins.” Which the woman would be able to tell if she gives Viktoria a small once over, though she is tall her frame is on the lighter side. Seems her mothers genes were the dominant one that won the fight between her fathers. “Ah, I should apologize as I’m being quite a rambling person to you aren’t I? If you’ll forgive me for a few moments more, to finalize the answer is research. From the other cultures as said before, to the more mysterious great disappearance. I have been told stories about such a thing my whole life growing up and it took years to try and talk to every other adult who might know more, all just for them to not have much answers. So now I’m in a giant pursuit of knowledge of the mysterious of the realm and the other kinfolk who roam around the grass and seas alike.”
