Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

Mikira's posture suddenly straightens, sharing a glance with the old kind lady "Ohh!" She squawked out, who seemed deep in thought before snapping out of it, having a good few seconds of silence before she came around "A fresh start, I hear a lot about this place, seems perfect and different enough to begin a new life here." She explains with a short cackle. The lady had a strange accent, akin to that of an Australian accent. She was oddly fashioned, wearing gold jewelry all around her strange uniform, the sun reflecting brightly off of it. She gave the older woman a toothy smile, showcasing her golden-carved set of teeth. "I'm more interested in the seas."
She looks straight forward to gaze at the golden high grasses of the plains in whatever direction the nearest shores are. The lady seemed to be a sailor, though didn't quite exactly look the part. She pivots herself back to face the lady as she continues conversating. "I've never sailed in the Southern Ocean before, I can see some fun 'n interesting adventures out of that. I often would sail the northern seas prior, travelling between the Mist Isles and Ashlands... not so friendly places if you ask me... all those sleepless nights. You kind of just get adjusted to that place n' living." She leans further back against the wagon, a sigh escaping her as she tries to release some tension, her face pointing up to breathe in through her nose "Even the air smells different here. Pristine! I've also been told how bountiful it is down here." As Mikira laid against the wagon seat, her stare out to the plains became unfocused. Her mind looking to be racing once again.
Mikira's intentions and reasons weren't as simple as she posed to the old kind lady as her appearance alone can tell another story. Although she told how exciting her new adventures can be at this new chapter, her mind was rather off in some other place. She had in fact lost everything due to a recent incarceration. Not only was she a sailor, she also was a criminal, a pirate. For the past years of sailing the northern ocean that connected the rough Ashlands and the strange Mist Isles, she was a former captain that harbored a illegitimate crew, intimidating and stealing from the sailors of Mist Isles and its bordering seas. Their whole operation of plundering ships, especially merchant ones, and taking what they please to trade it for goods and money lasted for a good amount of years up until she was ambushed and caught recently by a navy. Facing life imprisonment or even possibly death, Mikira had narrowly escaped and fled from the navy and has been on the run.
With no ship and no crew, the deserted captain was just left with mere pocket money and remaining jewelries she had brought along travelling south. Watching her former life fizzle away as she sits on the rolling wagon almost irking her, she tries to distract herself from the fact. "Hmm..." She uttered, breaking that long silence, going to her satchel to scavenge for something, uncrumpling a jagged piece of paper which looked to be a map of The Spire. "More importantly, I hear an old friend of mine resides here, and we have a ton of catchin' up to do... Business.. y'know how it is" She says, her chirpy tone never at fail when she spoke to the old lady. She tries to flatten the crumpled paper, running her hand against it as she laid the map against her thigh to have a gander at it. "The Spire... what an odd place, I don't hear enough about this spot, no one even knows what or where that huge towering structure came from, how fascinating..."

Brief Physical Description: Mikira is a seasoned human pirate that stands at 5'9 with a toned and lean build, her muscles being visible. Despite her age and wrinkles around her eyes, she has clear and golden tan skin that compliments with her olive green eye with wild and sea-swept platinum blonde waves pulled back in an updo. She has a deep old scar across her cheek and one that ran down her left eye which would be covered by an eyepatch. Mikira often wears burgundy and black leather and fabric for her outfits, sometimes either wearing long coats or armor.
