A land dispute between two farming families on the outskirts of the Spire-Town threatens to boil over into something greater. Where law delays and communication breaks down, can the Spire's community step in to maintain the peace?

Ivo Fennis, a young homesteader living on the northern frontiers of the town, has come forward with a request to the people of the Spire. Citing supposed slights against him and his relatives by the Marlow family — another group of farmers nearby — he asks for the public to mediate a land dispute. With Fennis appearing oddly uninterested in working with the Guard or the Spire's government, the task will fall to the intrepid or curious personalities of the town...

Nolune Hoshimi

A more recent arrival in town with a penchant for writing down everything she can get into a position to witness firsthand. Formerly a scribe, now she lends her time primarily to the town's library with regards to archival and maintenance. Perhaps less traditional or uptight than most of the academically-inclined, she prefers to establish a rapport with the subjects of her documentation, even when it tends to complicate the process. Thorough, it follows, sometimes to a fault.

Still fairly new to the population of the Spire, she seeks to prove her worth with the Militia by assisting others, despite not being a learned combatant yet, and thus non-violent methods to support the community interest her.  Her occupation isn't an investigator, but rather a smithing apprentice.  Her usual tasks of taking things apart and putting them together gives her a rather inquisitive mindset, she wants to know how and why things work.  In a way, that extends to people, as knowing how a potential customer may act can get them to buy your wares.

While not a scribe, an investigator, or even a well versed mediator, Archelos is a strong soldier type with a good sense of justice and equity. He would be present to act as a guard and a force to dissuade violence with his blade if it were to come to such circumstance.

Selene is a powerful witch, with a strong sense of opposition to the Spire's Government. As an Ichor Mage as well, she has some level of knowledge about Land and the arts of farming! Selene as well will claim that she has a long and storied history of solving disputes between woodland creatures, and sometimes people too!

A very lovely lady, totally not an academy dropout in medicine.
She is also gifted with the mutant ability to see, smell and hear more things she would like to, which could be useful.

Meridy Illuma is brand new to the Spire and has experience in a lot of odd jobs, though typically ones their skill with languages comes into play. A Falstoner wanderer who’s kind and honest, Meri often has a unique perspective as an outsider, though said perspective often isn’t kind to authority figures.

Jorgen is a commoner of modest understanding of the noble world between clans and families drilled into him. Learned whilst a servant to such greater lords and ladies prior to and after arriving to the Spire. Revering any authority figures with respect well beyond to his own benefit. He's able to provide an equally understanding perspective of family squabbles, as well as the resourcefulness of someone who is poor and street-smart as a commoner.

Corwin is a former information broker and detective from Mariza, with keep deductive and investigative skills to match. He excels in studying locations as well as picking up on small details, also being able to do so in conversation with people by analysing their body language, appearance, speech patterns etc. He quite literally is him.
