Hiya, I’m Conor. I don’t usually get into RP other than TTRPGS, but after hearing about this and reading the mechanics/lore this server really seemed fun! I hope we can get along.

Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

Oberon chuckles lightly “I hadn’t realised it was so obvious, seems I still need to learn how to fit in” He shifts his body to face the old woman “I came to The Reach in search of knowledge” He pauses “Or answers I suppose, I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that the Aedall disappeared from the Southern Reach some 50 odd years ago. I want to find out how and why an entire people simply disappear into thin air”
“My kin in Iria, well all Ko’ram really, seem content to simply accept their disappearance. I am not, no matter our differences, or how badly the Aedall wanted to cling onto a past better forgotten, they were our kin once even if they weren’t able to learn from the collapse of the old empire” He sighs “It seems all too sad to simply allow them to fade from the annals of history without at least figuring out what happened. I intend to travel to The Spire and try and unravel this mystery”.
“Plus, it’s a good chance to begin a new life. As beautiful as the fields of Iria are, I won’t be able to make my mark on the world by just staying home, I believe that The Reach will provide me the opportunity to make something of myself, to prove that I deserve to have existed.”
He turns around again looking out towards the plains, watching the scenery pass by with awe
“Yes, I believe I will be able to discover much here, I can almost smell the history in the air, the mystery on the wind. I hope this shall be a grand adventure”
