Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

Jack looks up from his packed hard tack towards the older woman offering a wide grin. "Ah, I'm lookin' for mah damned brother." He shakes his head before breaking off a piece of the cracker hard bread, dipping it into his large mug he holds between his legs in an effort to stop it from spilling as the wagon bounces over the road. "We spli' up af'er bi'en off more than we could chew in tha Valk'an Realm. Tha promise of Crowns blinded us to tha dangers." he lets out a half hearted chuckle before tossing the thoroughly soaked hard tack into his mouth. "We been apar' since tha Goldleaf before las'." his eyes grow sad at the mention of the time. He soon waves his hand around dismissively "Bu' ye nae wanna hear all tha' shi'e, ahm shore." He chuckles and goes to pull his pack around to his front, looking through the various pouches.
The Mistan produces a small piece of paper. He begins to unfold it into a Star Chart before looking over it and then up to the sky. He grumbles softly before hailing the cart driver "This be mah stop." As the cart slows to a stop he packs up his hard tack and finished the liquid in the tankard between his legs and departs off the back. "Have a good trip, lov!" He calls to the older woman before he pulls his curved saber out from under his seat, stepping out of the way of the rest of the caravan so they can continue and attaches it at his left hip. He turns on his heels and steps off into the wilderness.
