Event Request Thread

Looking for an event? Reply to this thread! Any DM (player or staff) can claim the request to DM for themselves, providing that the request isn't something that specifically requires Lore team involvement.

Please note that making a request in this thread is not a guarantee than an event will happen: DMs have schedules, lives, and various specialties, and may not be able to do what you are looking for. If all else fails, you can try to reach out to DMs personally!

There are both crown rewards as well as title rewards for DMs completing event requests! Events under one hour grant 80 crowns, while events over an hour grant 100 (purely social events garner 60 and 80 crowns respectively). By completing 5 event requests, you gain the title Dungeoneer, for 10 event requests you gain the title Worldly, for 20 event requests you gain the title Seasoned Traveller! Event request completion for titles will be tracked on your forum profile by members of lore. To reach out to the request owner, you may ping them on the discord server or reach out to them personally (and let them know to add to their event request that it was claimed. A lore member will delete the event request once processed).

Event desired: Something particularly horrible to happen to Araminta. She's fairly new in town and utterly indignant in regards to the town. She's the daughter of a Marizan merchant family that cut her off, having come to the Spire-town thinking it an easy place to make a name for herself. Effectively, I want her to be humbled lol.

Number of players: 1 but if the DM wanted to make it something public / hit her during something unrelated I'm more than fine with that!

Mainly just mess her up, risk of death and the like is more than fine with me! if another member of lore staff picks it up, feel free to go ham with whatever you put her through, if it turns into something of an event line or the likes that'd be neat, but not required or anything. ^^ tl:dr, mess up my new character please. Make her regret coming here but also maybe not even able to flee. Whether it be involved in ongoing campaign things, or a pre-existing eventline, or just something one-off, I just want her to suffer a lil. Just a smidge, as a treat. :3

Event desired: Bracchus and Maliketh venture into the woods to hunt a bear. Just a couple guys platonically disappearing into the woods for a couple hours, grunting a bit, and returning relatively fucked up.

Timezones(s): CST and CST+3. Generally free on weekends (Friday evening - Sunday evening) and sometimes on weekday evenings.

Special Requests: Should the pair successfully slay the bear, the goal is for Bracchus to recover the pelt. As far as the fight goes, we’d like something that is entirely mundane: a normal bear, not a mutant, vampire, or undead. Ideally, it feels like fighting a bear, that is to say, dangerous, difficult, and bloody (within server rules of course). 

Notes: We will consent to injury up to and including maiming. Death is a no-go unless we do something stupid to warrant it.

Event desired: Having witnessed the questionable state of the public outhouse, Grydda intends to locate a source of clean and drinkable water in the Undercity in order to establish a well for its denizens. 

Number of players: 2 (Grydda plans to along her cousin Urist)

Special requests (i.e. unique loot, enemies, etc. that may require additional lore team approval): Doing what Grydda does best, which is a lot of digging and construction. Maybe she finds something interesting as she explores and excavates. If all goes fruitful I hope to get a little well made for the Undercity to show my hard work.

Looking for the Atelier Guild to dip their toes into dealings with the undercity since the entrance is literally on their property so might as well not let the opportunity go to waste. Quite open to discussing more details and discussing it further.

Event Desired: Helara's Odyssey

I want a long (1-2 weeks IC minimum) journey for Helara to just travel out to the mountains or the Steppe or even northward, meet or help people, forage, overcome both natural and man-made challenges on her own etc. Kinda Roadwarden-esque where there is no clear defined goal for Helara and maybe she will find it along the way; the journey is the destination. I'd like to consider it a pilgrimage for the purposes of her devotion to the Equinox and Phoenix. Beyond that any stories or challenges are entirely in the DM's hands.

Number of Players: Just me, so it will be very simple.

Timezone(s): EST right now but I can accommodate most.

Special Requests: Not many. I'd like for her to barter for or find some starsilver eventually, it could be from this event or something else. I don't really want anything to do with fey or other high-supernatural things, I would prefer a more grounded journey. 

Notes: I am willing to do this as a combination of events or even a discord RP if someone would prefer that medium; my only request is that it does not drag on too long in OOC time.
