*The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.*
“Nervous?”
*You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.*
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

*Avina shrug, a wide grin growing to a toothy smile as she opens her mouth to speak,* “Nervous is such a strong word.” *She snaps her fingers for added pizzazz* “EXCITED! Nervous on top, sure, but the world is waiting with open arms for all of us if we just seek it. I’ve lived in a small settlement just north of the Wall all my life since my dad was stationed there, but I always loved to imagine what I’m missing out on if I just go out into the world. ‘A Valk should always find a way out of boredom…’ or so he says… Man… the Spire, it must be magic for so many people to settle there- Well, I think it is actually. But all the people, the opportunity, it’s so close I can taste it. Anywhome, the names Avina,”
*A small case is retrieved from the side of her leg, placing it on top and popping it open revealing a set of low-quality jewelry* “And what of you? I’m sure a trip like this makes you miss the luxuries of life. For you my fair lady, a discount. Buy one get one half off is the least I could do for such a sweet *young* lady” *Her smile grows again as she sweet talks the nice lady into buying bad rocks and painted metal*

Brief Physical Description: A tall woman of average build, long brown hair in a braid adorned with greenery and flowers picked from on her walks. She always carries some form of wears on her to sell in cases of varying sizes, shamelessly flaunting them whenever she can.
