People of the Spire,

As a matter of public safety, I am compelled to write this letter in address to those who persist in traveling to the place known as 'Nutward Putward Cave'.

Being one of the many individuals that have undergone the preliminary expeditions there, I can confidently assert that there is nothing valuable enough to risk one's life in retrieving or studying within that place. That cave is an active hazard to any who enter it, regardless of one's experience with caving or understanding of magic. The lives of several have now been claimed in the pursuit of exploration, including one of our own - Tayde Martolod - who passed earlier this month. Not only does the geography of the cave change on a whim, but there remains an unseen entity within that bears the capacity to influence the minds of the unfortunate that linger too deeply. Allow me to reiterate, this is not a challenge, it is a condemnation.

There is no treasure nor glory in that pit more important than one's own well-being, and any who convince others to travel there on their behalf are abetting potential suicide.

For the sake of your family and friends, hold fast to your sense of self-preservation. The only return made to that place should be to ensure its destruction.
