The Spire is a beacon of conflict. Mayhaps this is on account of the Frontier's vast natural resources, with battles and trade skirmishes being waged over lumber, ore, and land. Others theorize this could be a result of The Spire's geopolitical importance as a burgeoning regional power, with a people proud of the Spire's regional independence, who often are willing to use violence to defend such an state from encroaching foreign powers. Academics and venturing scholars often point point out The Spire as an educational opportunity for academic and esoteric learning, the Spire's mysterious namesake being a beacon for the fey and other supernatural occurrences. Many come to the Spire just to get away from war, either bringing memories of violence with them, or gaining new hatreds in their stay.
The reasons in particular are debated upon, but for this venture, the details matter not.
With conflict, comes spoils. The material treasures brought forth by frontiersmen and dreamers alike, who's great dreams and aspirations could not avail themselves for the reality of the frontier. An existence often enforced, and earned, through violence.
Cadayle, ever interested about Conflicts surrounding the Spire, has learned of a great skirmish North of the Spire. Through ragged refugees and hungry survivors, she has heard the tale of a Falstoner trade caravan and it's accompanying guard of Valkian knights, bound for the frontier town only to be waylaid by bandits and monsters, resulting in it's presumed destruction. Envious that she has missed the great battle, she has encouraged Samiylo to go and scavenge the wreckage of the battle-site for anything that might be of worth.

WHAT: Working off of information garnered from Cadayle, Samiylo and Atal are encouraged to seek out the remnants of a recent large-scale skirmish north of the Spire in hopes of scavenging meaningful gains.
WHERE: Meeting point will be at the North Gate of the Spire.
WHEN: April 5'th, 4:00 PM EST.
POTENTIAL RISKS: Possible Moderate Injury and Duress. Combat is a potential obstacle, to be met front on, or avoided. (Light to Moderate combat).
