[!]

The Headmistress' office within the Hermetic Assembly was left a mess - Papers scattered, a sparkler left beneath the desk, claw marks on the windowsill. Pools of blood had seeped into the ground in the backyard.

A black tressym trots along to the office door, sitting right outside it. Waiting.

[!]

A single scream into the void.

Hyacinth Mixed | Gurney's Seed & Nursery Co.

Between the ruins in the market and the hospital greenhouse,

hyacinth bloom at a rapid pace. Overtaking the area in a rather large radius.

Growing through cracks of stone, climbing up walls and rocks.

And it seems they are taken care of,

daily.

[!]

Just outside the back of the hospital, among the overgrowth of hyacinths, a trail of dirt was left - Leading into the building.

A familiar face has returned, her lungs now full of fresh air.

But is she truly the same?

In the coming weeks, some soft, rhythmic splashing could be heard from oars slapping the waters of the Spire’s lakes and the seaside. A very old wooden raft would be gliding about at a lazy pace, its maroon-cloaked driver seeming to try and practice with it alongside a big Greatling woman. There’s a certain… eerie nature to the raft only certain individuals could pick up on.

A knight seemed to be making the rounds of the Spire, breaking out of his normally socially reserved instincts to speak to any and all townfolk on one specific topic:

The Fey.

He's earned a moniker from the Hangua, and he will from the Fey, too.

[OOC]: I am doing as much RP as possible to hear people's Fey encounters. This is for the purposes of Maliketh learning, through RP, about every present Fey and their behavior. Please DM me on discord (you do not need to ask to DM me) to set up RP about it!!

The [ ! ] links to a song.

A recognizable knight leaves the Spire with a party of four accompanying him: a ginger-haired mage, a pale Korami princess, a Voidborn Captain, and a hulking, armored brute. They travel off, their destination the Amafell mountains to the East.

Perhaps the rumors reach the Spire before the party returns: a large, flashy constellation in the form of an Ouroboros illuminating the night sky above a patch of mountains left unclaimed by Stonerunners and Falstoners alike, due to their superstitious mystique. It would last until the dawn.

As the party breaks their journey along the way, word spread from town to town, that a Fey had been slain by their mortal hands in those mountains.

The Fey in the Spire should be very afraid.

Rumours would spread from Albern's Crossing-

A young man, his group of two others attacked in the middle of the night.

An older, more gruff and clearly drained man in the Spire-town speaking of a similar attack.

What were they attacked by,  you may wonder?

vampire.

A yelp followed by a scream..

Within the evening hours a cloaked figure was seen making their way into the forest through not seen returning atleast not to the public eye.

However a half injuried and bloodied hunter returned claiming he was attacked by a vampire seemingly out of the blue.. through a keen archers eye might spot that their Quiver seems emptier and the arrows are that of silver.. perhaps not exactly attacked.. more so they attacked it..

But only trace of the of the said vampire was mutilated deer and a bloodied trail leading off into the woods before disappearing.. perhaps into a cloud of smoke?

It took a week or so to prepare. But, citizens would notice that the spire seemed to flood with a number of individuals for a brief time. They were dressed in a uniform, dark black, and on the back, a gilded rose. It would not take long to realize that they had appeared within the spire for a funeral. A coffin was carried down the street, followed by a crying woman holding a small child.  Behind them, followed the Rose and Co. Mercenary company, on their way to put their captain to rest.

Besides the company, only two would know the coffin was missing a body.

Later that evening, an after-party was held. A painting of a man who would be familiar to some individuals. Below the painting would read:

In loving memory of Artemio 'Mio' Rose

May the waves guide him.

In the following days after the Fey Tribunal... it seems there were  murmurs of the Lady Steward's temperment flaring from within the townhall. Exasperated remarks of loathsome paperwork, and how she'll get her hands on one of the Magister's understudies if it didn't resolve itself. Every few hours when she departed and revisited the townhall, it only seemed to start the Stewardess' disbelief all over again.

... Talk about ruffled feathers.
