He wipes his spectacles before skimming the text. Briefly pondering in a stern expression, he murmurs, "I /do/ require money for winter garments". However, he'd watch the letter decay as soon as he tried taking it, watching the specs fall to the ground next to a cluster of mushrooms that he had not seen the day before. "Curious". As he gets on one knee to closer inspect them, he squints, almost in disdain at whatever power seems to be at play, "Very Curious".
