The Reclamation (a.k.a. “The Garden”)

The Reclamation is an organisation that teaches that all things unwanted and abandoned, be it flora, fauna, objects, or people, will eventually reclaim the world. Nothing is permanent, and it is all but guaranteed that eventually nature will come for what was built. In this line of thought, trash is treasure, rot embodies the truth, and moss in the cracks of things shows the patience of nature. This world does not belong to those who built upon it; Civilisation is a temporary crust on layers and layers of decay. The goal of the Reclamation is, therefore, to prepare the world for its namesake and make the people aware that nature finds a way.
Their base of operations is the sewers/underburrows of the town as well as a small storefront which functions as a little pawnshop that buys and sells people’s trash, grows mosses, algae, and all sorts of fungus (totallynotdrugs). However, the true Reclamation begins below: in the sewers, the rot-pits, the sludgy remains, and will rise slowly, reclaiming everything from the roots upward.
