Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”
How do you respond (in character)? (150 words minimum)
— The question very quickly prompted a smile, as if she'd been waiting the whole trip for someone to ask her this exact question. Where did she even begin with an answer though?
"The people" felt like a good start, her voice far more composed than her overactive mind would suggest. In truth, had she had it her way this whole cart would be partaking in the conversation but a brief wandering of the eyes earlier told her that not everyone would've been as up for it as she was. "-I mean where else are you going to find a bit of everything?" She didn't wait for an answer, hell she didn't want to wait for anything, the time just waiting for the cart was agonizing enough, pay no mention of the long ride so far but she was almost there and by now her cheeks were aching from the beaming grin that held.
Soon, her feet would step on unfamiliar soil, surrounded by unfamiliar faces. Oh, what an exciting thought that was.

Character Race: Half Human, Half Arsa Sidhe
Character Age: 28
Brief Physical Description: A half-elf of shorter status with curly white hair and light blue, a stark contrast to her dark almost mauve-ish grey skin. As far as clothes, she frequently dons attire similar to poets or bards, poofy shoulders and mixing colours and patterns (sometimes she wears a lil hat :D). Upon a closer look of the women, you may see small nicks and scars faded from time past, a burn mark creeping under her ear and just up her cheek.
