Pt. 1 Winds and Wreckage
"Broke masts, bent metal, and drowned men quicker than they could scream."
The Egmont Allay wasn’t the only ship battered against the shores of the Reach during that storm, but she might’ve been the only one pulled in its entirety to the water’s depths. Her Captain and a few others made it to shore. A few chests washed up after them but nothing else, not even bodies.
Though, a runner came from north of the wall. Asking all sorts of questions, where and how? - as though man could predict what angers the Siren Serene or when. Took the Captain back north to answer for his losses, to answer to who? The bloody Master.
Now a Caravan’s come south, flying no colours but armed to the teeth, Bent on ensuring no further losses for the master.
[!] Over the next 24 hours, a Caravan of Wagons is parked just outside the north gate of the Reach, a few of the armed visitors are seen briefly in dialogue with the Guards by the northern Guardhouse and some goods and chests are transported between the groups. [!]

<Stone takes its cut>
"Storms are impartial but luck has a curious habit of choosing sides."
The Caravan bound north never even saw the swamps, much less the wall.
Caught beneath some hills past Albern’s Crossing, the wagons were crushed in a sudden rockslide - soil loosened by wind and rain, or so the story goes. When the dust settled, armored men lay dead in pieces, their banners half-buried in the rubble.
But soldiers don’t ride empty-handed. And these wagons were just that - empty.
