Murder / attempted murder is defined:

"2.III: The unlawful killing of another without justification. (Duels are permitted when conducted publicly, with witnesses)."

Notice, duels are permitted under two conditions:
1. They are conducted publicly
2. They have witnesses

Both of these conditions were met when Cadayle and Siona agreed to duel. In fact, Cadayle asked if a witness was needed, and it was brushed off. Despite that, there were witnesses, and it was in a public space.

How do I know?
I was there.

I will add: consensus is not law. Though murder was involved, the law never states that the duel must be agreed to be 'to the death'. If consensus is made into law, it should only apply after such has been done.

So, I ask that, in fairness and respect to all parties and laws involved, Cadayle's murder charge be reconsidered.
I despise Cadayle just as much as everyone else, but that does not mean she is to be held to higher standards than others. Please, council, do what law and justice compels you to do, not your personal thoughts or opinions on the matter.
