Appearance

Equipment & Gear

Kaelith carries little that is not essential to them, but each piece does reflect Kaelith's heritage. Their primary weapon is a meteor hammer, its twin weights forged from volcanic stone and bound to black chains that has been passed down to them from his father.  As a secondary armament, Kaelith carries a staff that has been adorned with bands of Ashland stones that have been carved with fireborne motifs. While this is a weapon, Kaelith also sees the staff as an item for his rituals and a symbol of their bond with the Fire Dragon’s spirit while also being their most valuable object as it was their father's. Their attire is composed of flowing sashes and layered cloth, dyed in ember reds and volcanic blacks, garments that grant freedom of movement while echoing fireborne tradition. Adorning their body are rings, bangles, and earrings fashioned from obsidian, copper, and volcanic glass, some of which double as charms sanctified in  rites. Woven into their garb, one may also find trophies of the hunt — teeth, scorched bone, or claws — kept as tokens of triumph and reminders of their duty in the Ashlands.

Beliefs & Values

• Faith: Holds the Fire Dragon’s memory as sacred; shrines and pyres are central to their life often sitting up a separate fire for just the Fire Dragon even splitting up his food.

• Philosophy: Light and flame must be preserved; darkness is a thing to be banished.

• Community: Strongly values kinship — no Fireborne survives alone.

Story / Background

• Born in the Ashlands, Kaelith grew up within nomadic Fireborne bands who cleared new homes from beast-infested ruins.

• Trained from youth in both martial combat and the ritual practices of shrinekeeping to the fire dragon, balancing warrior and spiritual roles.

• Kaelith carries the ancestral duty of the Fireborne — to guard the world against northern horrors that few others even know exist.

Trivia & Quirks

• Fire-Sleeper – Finds comfort only when sleeping beside flame; embers and bonfires are preferable to beds as they remind them of their childhood.

• Keeper of Light – Cannot abide dark rooms or spaces; always lights a candle, torch, or ember before resting.
