Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”
How do you respond (in character)? (150 words minimum)
Nerves held together like a wave smashing against rocks, like black powder tossed on a open fire. A leg that doesn't stop bouncing,
blackened hands that wrack over the other and trace along scales. Bright red eyes flash up at the older woman, her warmth barely helping
with the accursed nerves.
"A change. I wanted a fresh start, the ability to take root somewhere else, somewhere new."
She sits up straight, the bounce in her leg slowing and her hands moving to hold each of her knees. A deep breath is taken in, the fresh scent of the new lands filling her nostrils and overwhelming her senses a bit. A shake of the head, short hair bouncing slightly as she does.
"I want to be apart of history, see what the world has to it outside of my home town."
The accursed looks to the side, orbs of red gazing out to the road they traveled. A silence held for a moment, watching all the things they pass by, all the small new things she sees being quietly logged in her memory. The bouncing and nerves stop, a trance found as she thinks on her future.

Brief Physical Description: Short and scrawny, Tanned complexion, Dark brown short messy hair that is tipped with black like it is burned, hands also tinged with black along the fingers and dark red scales that follow up the back of her hands, arms, and legs. She has a few piercings along her face and ears, rather tomboyish in her appearance.
