Darkmoon Accounts of the Southern Free Charter

set to record the deeds, standings and present concerns of the Charter,
for the knowing of its members, Patrons and recognized Holds.

So it's that time again. We will continue to make these updates every month so that everyone can know what we've done and where we're looking to go. Despite being such a short time I'm amazed at everything we've continued to accomplish so I'm happy to say everyone deserves commendations! So let's begin.

At our first orientation ceremony, we awarded each of our members will their identification plaques and their rank tokens which came in the form of rings or chains. These beautifully crafted items were done by Miss Sonoko of the Atelier guild and we will continue to maintain our relationship with them. If anyone has need of anything made, whether it be jewellery, weapons or armors or anything else, Please seek out them out. Their work is unparalleled.

Parties seem to be a common theme for our members. I'm always happy to see how easily we can relax and enjoy ourselves around each other. What makes me even more happy is how often we are welcoming to friends, family and even strangers and how quickly we can integrate them into our festivities. I hope we'll have more and more tavern nights or similar social events. They have been plenty fun. On that note, our mercenary friends have asked me to give everyone their regards. They enjoyed our social night and even though a few of them were bested in our friendly spars, they hold no ill will and extend their regards to the strong fighters of the Seneschalty. They have since vacated the Thorn and Thistle, as they have been called by their client for work. So, if you see them around town keep your greetings short, they are likely on duty.

A Delegation of our Guild led by our third Chair, Sun, recently travelled to the Amafell mountains and established friendly relations with the stonerunner clan, the Ner'Ilu. Many of our members are now considered friends and are welcome to their home, Durharthal, at any time. 

A Reminder to everyone that we have expanded our Holdings to the old Rangers' Workshop. It has been renovated and now serves as a storage facility where our members have assigned Lockboxes. These lockboxes serve to facilitate letters, rewards and exchange of rank tokens or updating identification badges. Attached is a reminder of your current lockbox assignment as well as the assigned boxes for all new members.

Our Second Chair has launched a new shop! Crow's Curiosities and Supply store. Do visit it in Albern's crossing if you have anything to sell or if you want to browse their wares.

And finally, we have over (25) active members! For our new members be sure to check in to see where your rank is. And to check your Lockbox for your identification plaque and your rank token!   Description: Clearing a nest of Drowners by the northern road, near the ruins. Difficulty: Opal (B-Rank) Parties Bound: Second Chair, S;  Sigurd, Deryn, Icarus, Waylon, Keraer Outcome: Nest was cleared and travelers in peril were rescued.

• Fox Hunt
  
  

  Description: "I've got a client looking for foxes, dead or alive with the carcasses mostly in tact. Bit of an impromptu job, but pays well as long as you find a good few." Difficulty: Steel (D-Rank) Parties Bound: Crow-at-Arms, Sigurd, Deryn, Waylon, Tali, Rowan Outcome: The population of foxes was lessened, but not decimated.

• Finding a Moth
  
  

  Description: "Odd lad, seems to be collecting bugs for one reason or another. Whatever it be, whether study, to keep as pets, or to use them as feed - don't matter. He wants to go out a few nights into the woods in search of a special moth. Your job is primarily to keep him safe and get him back to the Spire. Helping him accomplish his goal is secondary and not the priority." - 3rd Chair, Sun. Difficulty: Opal (B-Rank) Parties Bound: Axel; Tali, Magnolia, Edelweiss, 'D', Vleclith Outcome: Moth was successful found and retreived. Client was protected from a nest of Blighted.

Promotions will be highlighted. Any member highlighted MUST return their rank token and identification badge so it can be updated with their present ranking. Return it to your assigned lockbox at your soonest.

Matters unresolved, ongoing contracts, matters we look to undertake soon.

• A Hunt for Pelts
  This mission will remain ongoing until we have gathered ample supply.
  
  
• Foraging in the Reach
  the Reach is rarely in short supply of useful flora. And within the Seneschalty itself many are traded freely, at reasonable prices. However the Charter will continue this foraging initiative for both learning purposes (in accurately identifying various flora and where to find them) and to acquire useful material without significant crown expenditure.
  
  
• Filling in the maps
  A Wayfarer led initiative, more details to come.
  
  
• Patrol and Escorts
  The Charter will continue to offer escorts along the roads as far as the crossing and through the wilds of the Reach.
  
  
• Hunt for a Horned Monarch
  Party has been formed, Plans are in motion.
  
  
• Lectures, Teachers and Apprenticeship
  We've had a few trainings. We plan to continue and expand the breadth of skills our members have.
  
  
• Eta's Challenge
  One of our Members will be hosting a fighting challenge soon! Keep check of the notice boards.
