Dear citizens of the Spire, it is with heavy heart on behalf of the Office of Exchequer to declare that Exchequer Samiylo has indeed gone missing, and with that his seat has been left vacant. On the Authority of the Deputy Stewardess Helara, the role has been passed along to me, Kyrus Salada, for the time being until he returns. I shall hold the powers of the Office of Exchequer and continue the diligent work that Exchequer Samiylo has left behind for me, and even if the role is only temporary, I shall attempt to do it justice. Two new aides have been promoted to the office to help with the work, as no one may truly work through an economy like the Spire's alone. I hope you all understand the lack of an election for the time being, given the circumstances there simply is no time to wait patiently as refugees require aid and projects require funding. If you have questions, concerns, or requests, mail the Office of Exchequer and I will attempt to respond in haste.

With all of this said, keep your minds and hearts open for the change please, and I hope you all can share in the Glittering Future of the Spire.
