Notice of the Southern Free Charter's Disbandment

To our members, friends, patrons and neighbours,

After much consideration, the Chairs have come to the decision that the Southern Free Charter shall be formally disbanded.

It has been no small thing to see what began as a gathering of free hands grow into something that carried its members across the Reach and beyond. We have fought beside one another, learned from one another, celebrated victories together and, I hope, left the Southern Reach a little safer and richer for our efforts.

To every Free Member, Crow, Wayfarer, friend and patron who lent their strength to the Charter - thank you.

With the Charter's dissolution, its remaining affairs and holdings shall be put in order. Chief among these is the Charter Hall, which shall no longer be required for our use.

As such, the Hall is hereby offered for public auction to the guilds of the Southern Reach. Any established or aspiring guild wishing to claim the property may enter their name upon the accompanying registry and submit a bid.

Once sufficient time has been allowed for interested guilds to register, the bidding shall be called and the Hall awarded accordingly.

May its next occupants fill it with as much life as we did.

Organization Purpose: 

The Spire Fireborne-branch in the Spire exists to preserve Fireborne survival, supply those who brave the wilds, and anchor their people in foreign lands. Rather than a formal military hall or commercial enterprise, its purpose functions on three distinct pillars:

• Sustaining the Way: It acts as a hearth for the Fireborne- a dedicated space to practice their crafts, refine alchemy, and share generational knowledge far from the Ashlands. It ensures their traditions, tools, and survival methods remain sharp and accessible. And, it gives the Fireborne one roof to celebrate and prepare together beneath.

• Equipping the Venture: It serves as a practical launchpad for monster hunters, resource gatherers, and adventurers. By stocking battle-tested alchemy, maintaining specialized forge work, and mapping uncharted territories, the Fireborne Spire branch acts as almost a minimized version of the Bastion in the Ashlands. A place to foster adventuring and heroics, if such a thing exists. 

• Protecting the Realm: It translates tribal self-reliance into community protection. Posting bounties, tracking wild beasts, and hosting open space for the public turns Fireborne skill into a charitable shield for the wider realm, keeping the lands safe without forcing outsiders into a rigid code or hierarchy.
